Hi all,
While browsing the HPUS site I came across this:
New HPUS/FDA regulations (Best practices suggestions)
http://www.hpus.com/guideline-technical ... 14.pdf.pdf
I "think" this freecast might be about the above.
The Future of Homeopathy FREEcast tomorrow, 20 Mar 15

New HPUS/FDA regulations
Re: New HPUS/FDA regulations
Thanks. So this is basically requirements manufacturers or suppliers need to comply with to get a listing. But the process of potentizing is something specified by hahnemann, and each pharmacopoeia has it's own take on it and specifies this before the recipes start. The HPUS used to be decimal scale only, and I'd like to know if that has changed. The French do centessimal but using 100 succussions, which is interesting because they consider 30c a high potency. No wonder, they have siper-succussed the same as a 2M!
I think maybe they took 100 from the 6th edition and recognised that over 5th edition because hahnemann ended up in Paris, so it's their way of saying that's the way to go. They should really have read the other works by hahnemann.
Weleda do decimal scale, 100 succussions, the Indians as usual have seemed to copy from others, but have somehow got it right. Centessimals at 10 succussions.
