Hi Jas,
A search of Encyclopedia Homeopathica
http://www.wholehealthnow.com
for words beginning with autis (wildcard search autis*) yields 144
references, a goodly amount of reading material -including the full text of
this book:
"Stramonium - With an Introduction to Analysis Using Cycles and Segments"
Herscu, Paul, ND, DHANP
http://www.minimum.com/p7/engine/book.asp?n=1696
-which contains a good deal of information pertinent to autism in general,
but Stram-flavored autism in particular
Print reference:
Since many psychological conditions as they are known today are not directly
represented in Repertorium, this book can be very useful in assisting with
understanding both the possible breadth of symptoms falling within a given
"psychological disorder" -AND fairly diligent assistance in terms of
translating some of the disorders into possible rubrics.
"Manual of Psychiatry -For Homeopathic Students & Practitioners"
By Dr. J.P.S. BAKSHI
Childhood Autism pgs 230- 235
http://www.minimum.com/p7/engine/book.asp?n=2497
The section on Autism in this book is good. Probably not worth buying the
book solely for these 6 pages, but it is a good book.. it gives good
description of various disorders, differential diagnosis, etiology,
prognosis, alternative treatments, and "mini repertory" of rubric
suggestions for each of the conditions in this exhaustive listing of
psychological disorders.
The last 1/3 of the book is a standard-type Repertory, mostly of Mind, but
also of all other rubrics listed under any of the disorders discussed in the
book.
Between this (above) book and this one:
"New Comprehensive Homoeopathic Materia Medica of Mind"
By Dr. H.L. CHITKARA, BA (Hons), DHS (Hons)
http://www.minimum.com/p7/engine/book.asp?n=1501
.. a fairly comprehensive view of the relationship of various psychological
disorders to the homeopathic repertory and materia medica may be gathered.

Regarding vaccine induced autism - naturally it is important to consider
etiology, especially recent and dramatic! It would be worthwhile to add
rubrics such as
Generals, Vaccination, after -or even better, if it actually fit the case
Generals, Convulsions, vaccination, after
.. still, with the exception of a case which failed to respond to otherwise
"normally" selected homeopathic treatment, I'd say that you just take that
case and do the work, and give the remedy, and so on. IF the case fails to
respond, then begin considering options... naturally it is always important
to consider deeply the miasmic influences involved, and with a recent
etiology of vaccine induced dis-ease, you would be looking at instant
acquired condition, which should be assessed in terms of pre-existing
miasmic diathesis as well as newly acquired layer.
Herscu posits and develops a relationship between pertussis & Stram.,
including strong resemblance in persistent lung / cough symptoms... so here
is some food for thought in terms of pertussis vaccine.. (DPT) and Grimmer
mentions both in specific relation to diptheria, and in general relation to
"far reaching and deep subtle poisonous effects of vaccines" Merc-cy, Diph,
Pyrog, Thuj, and the snake poisons. (I would also think of spiders -
especially in vaccine-autism.)
Some list members have pointed out in the past that references in our
literature to vaccine & vaccinosis are specific to cowpox; (especially
related to Thuja) .. while there is some truth to that in terms of the
earliest references, it seems as if later experiences and writings have
sufficiently broadened that earlier base to the point where judicious use of
"vaccinosis" related rubrics and remedies
Out of time for now, but I have a great interest in this topic. Please
continue.
