OFF TOPIC: What a good day for organic food lovers!

Hello!

For those of us wanting to consume more greens and more organic food that is affordable, Mike Adams seems to have done some good work. Watch the video... I fell asleep a few times watching it because he goes on and on! However, this is what I need to do for the greens that I need more and more of, so I will be attempting to create my own boxes from scratch. I absolutely don't understand 3-D printers and how they can print this stuff. Does anyone here have a 3-D printer, and are you willing to help me get the parts for a few boxes I can put on my patio or right inside my door? If yes, I thank you in advance and please let me know if you can help me make the parts. :-)

Mike will become a multi-billionaire, and it seems to me that those of us who follow through with this process will be the beneficiaries. The greens in the video appear to be edible, but I don't see anything that he has released that evaluates and or compares his greens with the top organics. If everything appears healthy, I will then end my 20+ year love affair with my natural grocer and save the money that I spend there for food. I've noticed in recent months that the cabbage, the beets and the fermenting veggies I purchase from them don't seem "well" anymore. I believe it's the effects of climate change and soil depletion as well as the drought in California, where so many of the veggies and fruits I purchase come from. I hope to do beets with this process, which he says in the video will be upcoming.

I really don't like this guy too much, but I love the message and am willing to try it. Here's the link to his L O N G video.

Here's a lower cost 3-D printer on sale.

Similar to inkjet printer refills where you may need black, cyan, yellow, magenta, blue, 3-D filament cartridge refills become expensive.

For a few boxes, might be better to buy the ready made kits.
Depending on how many, how often the parts that are 3-D printable need replacing would justify buying a 3-D printer.

I don't want to spoil anything, but to me, important parts of what makes
a ‘whole’ plant (vegetable, herb or whatever) is the ability to dig your
roots into the ground, make/pick the best of what is there, adapt if
needed, survive poor/bad conditions, learn to survive frost, heat,
insects, make an alliance with worms and everything else you run into as
a natural plant, etc.
To me, hydrophonics sounds a bit like farmed fish (and what have you).
Probably better than GMO, but probably also inferior to natural.

As food for thought.

I agree with you, Hennie. And the best and cheapest way to ensure your food
is healthful as well as organic is to grow your own. It's not hard to do,
whether you have acres of land or just a few patio planters. A few
well-chosen amendments to the soil (composted manure from organically-raised
animals, rock dust, kelp, humates, lime, etc.) can make a huge difference in
productivity and mineral density.

Peace,
Dale

Agree about Mike Adams. REally dislike him. And he is a millionaire by now: a very entrepreneurial man with fingers in
many pots. I also don’t trust him. His message is not bad but don’t trust his products that he pushes.

For organic foods, I do think people need to learn to grow their own as possible and to buy local even more.
I much prefer reading Organic Consumers Association and Alliance for Natural Health for info on what is happening
with organic foods. There are many sites online to health growing organically.
