Can anyone help me with a field of remedies and/or rubrics for this condition.
I know there is wet and dry type - this one must be wet,
Have used eye, bleeding, side modalities and come up with a less than satisfactory list of remedies.
I believe it syphilitic miasm, however my client is predominantly tubercular, tall, very thin and pretty active for being in his eighties.
He is a long term client, main complain has been Lyme Disease (on and off) for the last 15 years, outdoors man so kept getting re-infected (more syphilitic tendencies) over the tubercular constitution.
He gets a shot in the eyeball monthly and would sure like to stop that from happening.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Maria

While researching my next book on the topic of eye diseases I discovered that the macular tissue is the most delicate of all the tissues in the body and their deterioration is a sign that all is not well in Glocca Morra.
Mineral transport in the gut apparent is the leading cause of the condition. I would test for heavy metal toxicity and then work on resolving digestive issues along with the full B-Complex with added B6 in the P5P form. I would also add additional B15 which isn't often included in the complex and when it is, the amounts are usually paltry. Pay attention to the adrenals and the thyroid
and should the basal temperature be low as I strongly suggest that it is, take adrenal cortex hormone derived from New Zealand bovine or porcine sources. Iodine, of course, for the thyroid. Also check the parathyroids and the thymus while you are at it. Mineral imbalance should be revealed after a short time period. Start with a baseline hair analysis and re-test periodically.
Topical formulations such as Eyebright add the necessary goodies like Luteine etc., all good.
A 6% solution of distilled water and DMSO also oxygenates the eyes. It stings a bit but is quite well tolerated. Caveat Emptor! Carmi Hazen

Maria,
Banerjea has degenerative eye issues as syphilitic.
Macular degeneration due to that miasm would likely begin much earlier in life, 30s, 40s, 50s?
Has this been so with you client?
If not and Lyme is involved, there is the possibility that Pyroluria is present which could be due to Lyme.
Pyroluria, as I posted about previously, is a condition that causes severe loss of B6 and zinc.
A urine test determines if you have this condition and how severe it is.
A level of over 20 is considered high, mine was 126 and my case is considered extremely severe.
I recently went to Chicago to be seen and evaluated by biochemical and medical experts on this condition and interviewed by 30 MD and CAM professionals during their training on treating this condition nutritionally.
I was prescribed 500mg B6 and 200mg P-5-P among other supplements, vitamin C, selenium, biotin, manganese, evening primrose/borage or black currant oils along with high doses of zinc picolinate, the only form of zinc used.
Theses amounts are not random suggestions but based on blood test levels of zinc, copper, histamine, ceroloplamin, homocysteine, Vitamin D and the experts having a database of blood tests from over 10,000 patients.
Since starting these high doses of supplements, my urine stopped having a sudden mauve color, which would happen when becoming stressed, anxious. This is one hallmark feature of Pyroluria. I also have more energy and better mood. Other seemingly unrelated issues, like losing ability to sun tan, lack of dream recall are also symptoms.
I'm also extremely tubercular and just started TubK LM17 and my Pyroluria was definitely identified as inherited during the evaluation based on family and psychiatric history and likely fixing this addresses other lifetime health issues.
Given your client's age, he may not want to undergo the special testing and expense involved to identify if Pyroluria is an issue.
If you are seeing no sign of the syphilitic miasm and the macular degeneration occurred in the last 15 years, after age 70 since becoming Lyme infected, it could be Pyroluria or other Lyme related issues, not the syphilitic miasm.
Pyroluria is also present in many social anxiety disorders, ADHD, ADD, autism and bipolar, schizophrenia.
Does your client have any of these?
Below are summaries and videos by Dr. Klinghardt, who has some theories on Lyme, gut flora and also a connection with Pyroluria.
It appears Lyme is much worse a condition that can cause many problems the longer you have it.
Possibly there is a Lyme miasm evolving. 2 hour lecture, lots of useful info to consider http://articles.mercola.com/sites/artic ... sease.aspx http://www.betterhealthguy.com/klinghar ... infections
"All chronic illnesses are caused by a change in the microbiome - the collective presence of the bugs in us. Every neurological illness is the outcome of toxicity or a shift in the microbiome within us." I often wonder why the majority of the rest of the world doesn't seem to be getting this concept."
"microbiome" is the new buzzword that mainstream medicine is now focusing on. https://www.google.com/search?tbm=nws&q ... sAWRjqW4BA

Thank you for writing. This condition came on just recently, but he has been struggling for years with Lyme disease - on again and off again. one of those cases that has been 'cured' lots of times.
He had received Chelation therapy quite a few times, despite my suggestion he may want to be very careful about it, so I will go with the theory of mineral deficient, very thin and lots of psora i would bet.
Warmly, Maria
