Study to Check Homeopathy's Efficacy in AIDS Cure
The Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH) in New Deli, India
is to undertake a multi-centric study to establish the efficacy of
homoeopathic drugs in combating HIV/AIDS in India.
Researchers are now working out a protocol based on the World Health
Organisation (WHO) guidelines so that the study could begin shortly involving
homeopaths, microbiologists, immunologists and counselors. Recent pilot
studies had yielding highly encouraging results, according to Dr V P Singh,
asst director, CCRH.
The project, with 75 per cent funding by the department of
science and technology, would be carried out by the CCRHs units in Chennai,
Mumbai and Delhi. Etc.
