Measles and aliens

Wasn't it Measles that caused the death of all the aliens in War of the
Worlds? Little red spots on their hands?
My friend had badly treated measles as a child before there was a vaccination
and she became practically blind. Only the strongest glasses helped. Now
she has had cataract surgery and she sees 20/20 without glasses. She became
progressively deaf over the years and had coclear implants put in her head and
now she can hear. She had what they said was a congenital condition of blood
clot in her lung..she survived that. She was poor because she had to stop
working and now she is taking care of her wealthy mother and driving around
town in a cadillac seeing and hearing and will be well taken care of for the
rest of her life. Unfortunately, she is a great believer in the almighty
doctor and would never think of using homeopathy...this in spite of the fact
that once she had a terrible toothache and she couldn't see the dentist for
another three days...and I gave her coffea and in the middle of the
conversation she said..."oh, my toothache is gone", and went on talking about
something else.
And John, if you get this far...we just got some great information from Irene
about the thymus that we can pass onto others to hopefully enlighten them and
I can't believe you are still picking on her. Maybe it is time for you to give
me your birthdate, time and place so I can try to understand where you are
coming from.
