The Preface of the Organon

Hi Lynn,

I would very much like to read the Preface of the Organon with you. I am looking at Wanda Brewster O'Reilly's translation. Maybe you have access to a digital copy.

Paragraph 1.
Sweeping away material causes as a huge area of allopathic methodology has not changed much. Can you think of exceptions?

If a baby is RH+ then the blood has to be exchanged, I believe.

There must be emergency cases of for example poisonings. Perhaps this has to be read in a more specific realm.

The basic notion of body produced toxins seems key here. Dr. Taylor says "One Man's ceiling is another man's floor." Many body products that we think of as toxic are to some extent used by the body. The right amount of the right stuff in the right place is important. I am thinking of the supposed toxin at the last stage of filtration before urine exits the kidney. Urea? Would that be an example? Hahnemann is not talking about this kind of toxin.

Perhaps this discussion has to be limited to allopathic treatment methods. There are plenty of alternative treatment methods of the same ilk. Gut washings, Fasting....

Hi Ellen,

digital access to the different 'Organon' prefaces
Preface Organon 1-6th Editions
http://www.homeoint.org/books/hahorgan/orgapref.htm
In the 6th edition Hahnemann refers to and builds on what he said in prior Preface and Introductions:
"This non‑healing art, which for many centuries has been firmly established in full possession of the power to dispose of the life and death of patients according to its own good will and pleasure, and in that period has shortened the lives of ten times as many human beings as the most destructive wars, and rendered many millions of patients more diseased and wretched than they were originally ‑ this allopathy, I have, in the introduction to the former editions of this book, considered more in detail."

Same allopathic practice, different tools!
Rather than addressing the mistunement of the vital force,
allopaths instead look at illness as the end result caused by something invading from the outside, which they treat by countering it.
It all boils down to the individual's susceptibility.
Best,
Lynn

I sent a copy of it to the group
It is also here http://www.homeoint.org/books/hahorgan/orgapref.htm
No, no problem to first baby unless mixing of
blood through injury during pregnancy and then rhogam given
Nowadays giving it routinely during pregnancy
which is NOT a good thing (only in US and a few other countries)
And then given again after birth, if baby is rH
pos and mom rH neg, in case of mixing of blood
which will cause antibodies to form and possibly affect next baby

I have talked to many women who didn't get it at
any time and rH neg with rH pos babies. And
have no problems - there is NO automatic mixing of blood at delivery either.
My article on this http://www.wellwithin1.com/rhogam.htm

Thanks Ellen
