I currently have a patient with constant anal itching and no pathology which is visible either externally or on proctoscopy. The area is dry and the lady uses no local irritants to explain the problem.

May I seek esteemed members inputs please?

Patient needs full work up/complete history. Then you may have clearer idea of causation.

As homepaths we do not prescribe as allopaths. There is no such remedy for a particular condition or set potency for a particular condition. We treat patients...not conditions.

So even if you gave Sulphur.....you must be trained to understand what to expect at follow ups. For homeopaths to suggest remedies/potencies knowing nothing about a case is ........careless/unscientific.

Seek out a homeopath for the patient.
