GATHR- HOST A SCREENING
We've partnered with independent film distributor Gathr . They've created Theatrical On Demand(r), a way for you to bring a screening of Trace Amounts to your community! It's very simple how it works (if you're familiar with Kickstarter you'll get the concept right away), but read further to learn how.
HOW TO
On the homepage ofwww.traceamounts.com click on the red button that reads: “Host Your Own Screening.” This will take you to our Host a Screening page. Click on the green button which reads: "GATHR IT! - Request a Screening." You will then be walked through a simple sign up process.
GATHR IS EASY
You won’t have to pay any screening room rental or exhibition fee – all you have to do is spread the word to yourfriends, family, organization, etc in order to get enough tickets reserved to 'tip' the screening. TOD(r) screenings can only happen if a minimum number of people reserve tickets (often around 60, but it depends on the theater/day/time etc.). Here's what we love most: tickets are reserved by pre-authorizing credit cards, so if not enough tickets are reserved for the screening to 'tip', no one's credit card is ever charged.
