I'm doing a 4th year assignment(classical hom) on AIDS
and was wondering if anyone would like to share any
experiences they have had in treating AIDS patients.

Also, a very belated thank you to those who replied re
finding a homeopath in the Bexhill area (UK). Is there
a way of finding out whether or not they are
classically trained?

Many thanks

Sue Collinson (Oz)

Minimum Price Books has Jonathan Stallick's book on Aids. It it 19.95. there are 2 reviews listed and the table of contents of he book. this is not the only info on Aids and homeopathy. someone else on the list, several months ago referred to an article in Homeopathic Links (i think) by Peter Chappell who is doing work with Aids. I also just met an ND in my area who used homeopathy with aids ptx. he has not written anything on the subject tho. in California, there are people treating aids with homeopathy i understand.

i forgot to mention Coulter's book on Aids and Syphylis which, i think is an incredible essay on the dynamics of Aids historically/medically. other books are listed on minimum price's catalogue

There are many sources of work on treating AIDS.

I would propose that there are no experts on AIDS, but only varying
viewpoints. Stallick is a high potency view using many remedies in a short
space of time and has much to commend his work. However it must be
contextualised as being appropriate to the time before combination therapy
gave homeopaths a longer time frame within to operate before sickness &
death. Others such as Christine de Groot treat low, following an Eizayaga
approach. Steven Silver a co founder of the Immune Development Trust has
great success but varies treatment according the patients individual
assessment. The book by Coulter is very old and very out of date, I would
not use it as a current reference work. Its also shockingly biased and
discriminatory in language — much of the science quoted then has also been
superseded.

Even some of Vithoulkas's comments are a bit suspect, but still useful. His
views on vaccination bear some thinking about - especially as last year
Canadian researchers identified that the 1% of the population that is
naturally immune to smallpox, is also immune to HIV? But the contamination
theory of SIV in th smallpox/polio vaccination has ben discounted very
recently (the monkey kidneys in which the vaccine was 'grown'0 are not
susceptible to SIV.

Gabriel Kessler, who has a large AIDS practice is another good homeopath in
this area, but sadly he does not write much.
Some useful references might include:

Giraldo, R - AIDS & Stressors, Funacion Arte Y Clencia, Medelin Columbia 1998
Baker A, Fox K and De Groot C, Working & living with AIDS & HIV The
Homeopath, 55, 1994
Vithoulkas, G, A New Model for Health & Disease
Silver, S (The Homeopath No 51, 1993)

I assume you have all the major allopathic web sites?

A search of the British Homeopathic Library will find many references.
