But I can and will withhold my patronage because homeopaths are did not deliver for Nennette and myself. The chiropractor says up front that he is aiding one's inner healer, and if he adjusts the back, only a complete moron would think that his inner healer was not aided. But the homeopath asks about all of your symptoms, but if there is no improvement in any of those symptoms, as what happened with Nennette and myself, then there is going to be some serious disappointment.

Why would I pay money for nothing? Honestly, I don't understand why you don't get it. It doesn't mean squat to me if you come from a long line of homeopaths who have done a lot of good for people. If I don't gain anything from it, why should I pay money for the next homeopath. IT DID NOT WORK. I feel serious buyers remorse.

If it makes you feel any better, I am going to call Dr. Cooper and talk to him about my disappointment. But I don't know what I am going to do about Nennette's disappoint.

But you people act like you are so above us lowly patients that we should pay you simply because you are so brilliant and wonderful. Perhaps I should send you a check now, Irene, because you are so brilliant and you know so much; never mind the need for me to talk with you for an hour about my symptoms; if diet is maintaining the symptoms, I should just send you a check and we can not bother with the interview.

Being better than pure evil is not saying much. If you use conventional medical doctors as a comparison, it doesn't do much for me. I don't frequent medical doctors because I know that they don't get real healing results. I do believe in homeopathy because I have seen real healing. But I listed several days ago all eight of the homeopaths that I have visited in my 45 years of being a homeopathic booster. Only one insisted upon a strict listing of everything that I had eaten for the past 7 days. Even Dr. Roger Morrison said exactly zip about diet.

My problem is not with homeopathy. It is with the practice of homeopathy by homeopaths, the ones that live in their little ivory towers and are unfamiliar with the tsunami of crap-food that has engulfed our society over the past 120 years. This crap-food is such a monsterous 666 pound gorilla in the corner of the room that it has greatly interferred with the success rate of homeopathy and has harmed homeopathy. Yes, the AMA et. al. has been a real monster when it comes to the practice of homeopathy, but so also has junk food and too many carbs and sugar. This morning I ran for 12 minutes in the bitter cold. A 6 months ago I was scooting around grocery stores because of agonizing pain in my lower back. I must have done something right, and it was not homeopathy. I know this to be true because every time I fall off the no-sugar/low carb diet the pain comes back with a vengeance.

Hello Roger,
When our systems are not working correctly we do become more sensitive to the foods we eat, true health means it should not be an issue. Your dietary restrictions are indicative of a disorder. Granted we would not buy an expensive automobile and put crude oil in the gas tank either.
Nor do I disagree that today's foods are terrible, but we humans do adapt somewhat.
Healing is a very personal issue. As a homeopath I rarely assess a patient with a physical exam. They all have medical doctors that have done that. Who are far better than I at diagnostics.
You may be looking for that one remedy that moves you quickly and steadily to a cure. We Homeopaths can not always promise that. Sometimes miasms must be untangled, often we need to zig zag towards that 'cure', each next remedy getting a bit more out until we can bring order into your chaos.
Homeopathy doesn't always have one remedy it may take many to effect the positive results you are looking for.

Yes you changed your eating habits and feel better. You are running also. How do you know that behavior change was not the result of one of your last few remedies ?
Would your homeopath have been given credit for that massive change?
And, yes I know you did all the work but our patients always have to do all the work. Healing is hard.
Sometimes it takes a long time for the full action of a remedy to do its work, especially with chronic diseases and weak vital forces.
It has been said a disordered liver will prevent a person from dieting and having the willpower to do many things.
I suspect you would do better with Homeopaths if you offered someone an affordable monthly amount to work with you and your family rather than offering a challenge like cure me and then I will pay you. It often takes a few years to get all our 'stuff' out, patience and hanging in with a professional homeopath you resonate with should help you a lot.

So you are saying that a person can only get diabetes if they have a homeopathic derangement of their inner healer or constitution, no matter how much chocolate cake they eat?

Maria, I bothered to read your entire comment (which I generally don't do if the first sentence sets me off), and you are making perfect sense. I confess that my improvement in the past 2 months seems sort of miraculous, which is a good sign that homeopathy is involved.

Just how long can a homeopathic remedy take to work? I have put in a telephone call to my naturopathic doctor and will discuss it with him (without a chip on my shoulder). He gave me those remedies so long ago that I don't even remember how long it has been: perhaps 15 months ago, 12 months, I don't really remember.
