Do you see signs and symptoms as arising from the basic imbalance of the person even though they may be triggered by poor dietary habits - which themselves may be symptoms of the imbalance?
I see S & S as the body's response to a stressor, revealing the potential of the underlying state rather than effects superimposed by an outside influence. I guess Hahnemann spoke about it as the dormant and active miasm.
I imagine both ways work - and they obviously do.
Once again, with not all symptoms being equal, the skill is in identifying the significant symptoms and then prescribing on those.
I look forward to your book being published.
