Dear Will,
You did not miss anything :-)
That name was intentional, for a Norwegian Forest Cat.
I used Scandinavian - usually Norse - names for all the cats I bred as a Norwegian Forest Cat breeder, and will always chose one that matched the kitten in some way.
An American name would not seem right for a NFO :-)

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Irene,
Thanks for clearing that one out for me, a nice way of naming Nnorwegian cats.
Mine are now 14yrs old and took me about 6 months to figure out how to call
them by observing what they're like.
