The permitted herbivores one is allowed to eat are those that have split hooves and chew the cud. (The pig has split hooves but does NOT chew the cud.). The only exception is the camel which chews the cud, has feet, but at then end of the foot there is a toe which made of hoof material and is also split.
These are in the main Sheep, goats, cow (and camels) as domesticated animals, or the variety of dear, even giraffe etc.
The horse family do not have split hooves.
Endorsing the necessity of proper nutrition, Peter Chappell told me that when he tried his PC1 remedies against aids and malaria, he found that a lot of the victims were too poor to eat properly. So in some cases he had given them money to buy food and could see the difference.
See first part of aphorism 73 - Exciting cause could be insufficient amount of food.
"As regards acute diseases, they are either of such a kind as attack human beings individually, the exciting cause being injurious influences to which they were particularly exposed. Excesses in food, or an insufficient supply of it, severe physical impression, chills, over heating, dissipation, strains, etc., or physical irritations, mental emotions, and the like, are exciting causes of such acute febrile affections; in reality, however, they are generally only a transient explosion of latent psora, which spontaneously returns to its dormant state if the acute diseases were not of too violent a character and were soon quelled."

Dear Soroush, et. al.,
I like what the Koran says about diet except that I don't exactly know which animals have split hooves. If someone could tell me, that would be excellent.
I am also very impressed with the frequency and amount of meat that the Koran recommends. That makes perfect sense to me. The Atkins diet always seemed to me to have far too much meat.
Does not homoeopathy intend to treat the whole person? I have to deal with healing the whole person: myself, my wife, and my son. I don't have the luxury of living in an ivory tower and discussing details of a healing modality that doesn't heal the whole person. When my son broke his arm about 7 years, I could throw homeopathic remedies at him and his arm until my bank account died and hell froze over, and it would not have done a bit of good. Instead, I opted to take him to a conventional doctor and have his arm set.
It is exactly the same that if a person eats improperly, they will NOT heal. It just can't happen. I am ready, willing, and able to shut up about diet, but I do so reluctantly, knowing that hundreds of millions of people, including the practice of homeopathy itself, is being damaged because of the 666 pound diet bear in the room.

Subject: [Minutus] RE: Omnivores
If our teeth are examined, we find that we are equipped with front teeth to cut, incisors rip and molars to grind. We are designed to be omnivores.
For those who accept that Islamic instructions are from our maker and designer, then we have instructions to avoid certain meats (Pig's meat, and that of dead animals, any that do not have split hooves, any fish without scales and any birds that do not grind their food) and not fill our stomachs with meat and as a maximum have one meat meal every 4 days and have at least one meal containing meat every 20 days - especially for children.
Those who think they are wiser and know better than our maker can choose to do otherwise!
But please can we get back to homeopathy - pandas or no pandas!
