Two years ago my siblings and I stayed at a man's house who invented a light
for microscopes using the chemistry of the light from a firefly. He showed us
an example of it. He added fluoride(?) to the light and it turned blue neon
and he said that when cancer cells were under the microscope the light got
even brighter. Maybe that doesn't relate but who cares, a good little story.

Actually it makes sense.
Cancer cells have too much DNA in the nucleus and so if you make it fluoresce it will fluoresce darker than normal cells

Bio-photons, as I understand, are viewed essentially a form of energy which range from visible to non visible frequencies. From what I understand, the human body emits bio-photons which have a visibility 1,000 times lower than the sensitivity of our eye. Thus, not visible to us. However it would appear bio-photons that part of the visible electromagnetic spectrum (380-780 nm), are believed to be responsible for energy-information transfer by living cells.

I can't help but to relate this to homeopathy, which is often referred to as an energy medicine. I see electromagnetic energy as a common denominator to not only, light and sound, but also to all animate and inanimate objects and beings. So in homeopathic treatment when the specific frequency of the EMS being applied by the appropriately selected remedy, it will be the bio-photon (as we have named it) that will be the active stimulate or trigger behind energy-information transfer by living cells to initiate the healing process. I have often though that if we ever fully understand the workings of homeopathy we will have unlocked one of the magnificent secrets of the universe.

Perhaps the bio-photon is the key to opening that door.
