And I suppose this brings up the question of where the truth really is.
There is plenty of research out there, plenty of sound evidence that really isn't too hard to find.

Okay, here we go with lots of back pedaling and apologistic statements.

I just rec'd a post from Jon Rappaport stating that Thompson's article which was previously
published has been pulled from the journal, ala Wakefield history.

There is going to be a Cancer and Autism gathering shorting and Tim Bolen is 'suggesting'
Brian Hooker may be there to speak. Hooker has apparently been a confident of Thompson.

I also read the other day that Thompson was escorted out of his work building but this article
indicates he is still on the job. Perhaps he is out of the closet enough that he filed for whistleblower
status and is gaining some momentary protection.

Sadly the site did not provide any links or other info to trace where this statement came from. Obviously this is a controversial issue and I would have like to been able to verify it.

I am sure the industry with its prostituting CDC and FDA will be doing damage control--and they already have.

Given what we do know about how these institutions work to protect their interests, we can apply some healthy
skepticism to things like the back pedaling of Thompson. Further, given the heavy handedness of these agencies,
we can assume serious pressure is being brought to bear which can include everything from threatening his job,
his retirement funds, his and his families safety. So we need to watch carefully and read between the lines applying
the knowledge that we have about how this system operates.
