Cancer and diet

Dear Y'all,
I pretty much agree with Irene on just about everything. So if you criticize her and her ideas, then you are also criticizing me. So you can think of this email as my supporting Irene in the current discussion about cancer.
Diet is a maintaining issue with homeopathy IF it is wrong, and for most modern people, it IS wrong. I struggled for 43 years with my anger and irritability, trying every thing from homeopathy to psychotherapy to crystals, etc. etc. etc. NOTHING worked. I was and am very, very strongly motivated to control and reduce my anger, given that I am a serious spiritual aspirant. I am sure that Soroush has blocked quite a few of my comments that were seething with anger.
But when I went hardcore low carbs and zero grains, the anger and irritability evaporated (except when I don't get enough sleep, and even then I am still tolerable to be around.) And my physical inflammation also almost disappeared, despite my pinched nerve.
What Irene described in her long email about diet is what all paleo thinkers think and write. If you think that a paleo diet requires that you carry a club around and go out and whack and eat bison, then you are fooling yourself with your own imagination. Paleo is about matching one's genes with one's lifestyle, which includes sleep, diet, exercise, etc. It is beyond me how anyone can find fault with this, whether we are talking about cancer or not.
In 1971, there were more health and nutrition studies being published than it was possible for one person with normal reading speed to keep up with. Think how much worse it is now in 2014. It is not possible to even read all of the studies, let alone process them all and make sense of it all. But there is a short cut to understanding health and nutrition: It is called The Theory of Evolution. How anyone who fancies that they are scientific or believes in science can ignore this FACT and NOT apply it to their own lives is a mystery to me.
Paleo is simply matching one's lifestyle to one's genes. And everyone's genes are different.
I too have been interested in why vegan people are often successful, given that their diet is not 100% paleo indicated. I have decided that veggies (and veggie juicing) cleanse, and meat, fish, dairy build up. I believe that a healthy diet requires both.
[Also, I just don't like the idea of killing animals that I could and have loved and then eating them. So I try to eat animals whose consciousness is the most rudimentary, like fish, eggs, kefir, etc.]
As far as cancer per se is concerned, I would be looking for a diet within paleo that would help. I find veganism to be a cult, and it sounds very similar Jainism. It is impossible to be in a body very long and not have your body being at war with all manner of microbes, which is prohibited in Jainism. I honestly don't think much of religion; spirituality is getting to the essential "message" of religion and life, and as it says in the Bible, "The letter killeth, and the spirit giveth life". Religion is following the letter; spirituality is following the spirit.
Sincerely,
Roger Bird
