Proving is available from Jeremy Sherr's Dynamis school
http://www.dynamis.edu/dynPublications.htm

Vermeulen Synoptic MM2 (from Encyclopedia Homeopathica)
Androctonus amoreuxii hebraeus
Androc.
Signs
Androctonos amoreuxii hebraeus. Scorpion.
"Different species of scorpions have different toxic effects. The more
mature the scorpion the more severe the affect. The stronger poisons are
known to be six times as lethal as that of the viper."
"Scorpions were probably the first animals to leave the sea and live on
land, but what is even more remarkable is that, like no other species, they
have remained unchanged for nearly 400 million years, indicating a
remarkable success in the process of life and evolution. They have an
extreme adaptability, and have been found living under water or 5,000 metres
above sea level. They can dig up to a yard deep in hard ground and lift up
to hundred times their weight. Scorpions can survive for long periods
without either food or water and, in some experiments, have lived as long as
nine months without any sustenance. They have very efficient powers of water
retention and are particularly well adapted to living in a dry climate. The
scorpion can detect its prey's location with great accuracy by sensing the
vibrations caused by the victim's movement through special sensors located
in the legs."
"They glow under ultra-violet light, as if they are radiating. It is also
said that they have a certain immunity to radiation [therefore possibly
useful for the ill effects of]. They prefer the dark nights and rarely
appear on moonlit nights or on sunny days. They are extremely sensitive to
the direct rays of the sun, or to fire. Scorpions have an extremely
interesting mating dance, full of ceremony, which can go on for a few hours
and has surprising similarities to the same process in human beings. They
are known as loners and sometimes will eat each other, though they are
immune to their own poison. They are aggressive animals, and if under any
threat will usually attack, though they may change rapidly from attack to
defence and may 'play dead'." [Sherr]
The scorpions, with more than 600 species, make up a remarkably homogeneous
group. In its general appearance, a particular species of scorpion shows a
lot of similarity with every other species, although there are differences
in dimensions, colour, the number of eyes, development of the legs, and
particular minor characteristics.
The scorpion's mouth is very small and its food consists of the prey's soft
tissue and bodily fluids, which are sucked into the digestive system by
means of a pumping motion. This manner of ingestion and digestion is slow,
and a scorpion needs several hours to consume a small insect. Like other
arachnids, a scorpion can fast for several months to even a year.
Scorpions usually remain in one place and prefer their prey to come to them
rather than having to go and hunt them. They usually move slowly and with
caution. In cold weather, most scorpions become listless, and the group is
generally not found in areas with a moderate climate.
Unlike most Arachnids, the scorpions are viviparous. Immediately after
birth, young scorpions climb on the mother's back and attach themselves to
her using suction pads at the end of their legs. They remain there for
several days or weeks, while they digest their own embryonal yolk reserve.
Shortly after their first ecdysis, they leave the mother and quickly move
out of the way to avoid being eaten by her. After shedding their skin seven
times, they become sexually mature.
The North African Buthus australis is one of the most dangerous species of
scorpion for humans. A proving has been carried out with this species, which
is described in James Stephenson's 'A Materia Medica and Repertory' [see
under Buthus].
The small, brown members of this family of Buthidae use a deadly neurotoxin
which has the same effect as the poison of the cobra [Naja] and can kill a
human being within a few hours. The symptoms are similar to strychnine
poisoning.
The name is derived from Gr. androktonos, killing people; "amoreuxii" comes
from Amoreux, a French physician, naturalist and librarian [1741-1824].
Proved and introduced by Sherr in 1985; 31 provers [14 men, 17 women].
Compare
Anacardium. Nux vomica. Sulphur. Lachesis. Hyoscyamus. Staphisagria.
Phosphorus.
Comparisons:
"One of the first remedies that comes to mind is Lachesis. The egotistical,
malicious, suspicious, critical, and sexual elements of both remedies are
similar. Further, the lump in the throat, disposition to swallow, suggestion
of left-sidedness of some complaints and the slurred speech tend to confirm
the validity of this comparison.
"Platina: The potential for arrogance of Scorpion, the lustfulness and the
sensitivity of the genitalia are shared characteristics.
"Sepia: Detachment, indifference, irritability, the caustic tongue, the
dancing element, left-sided headaches, the disposition to swallow and an
amelioration at night are comparable symptoms of each remedy.
"Thuja: Distrust, self-centeredness, aloofness and the suggestion of
deceptive caginess. These characteristics coupled with left-sided headaches
invite a comparison of the two remedies.
"The extreme hostility and urge to kill, combined with other qualities such
as hurriedness, dancing, increased sexuality, etc., bring to mind such
remedies as Tarentula hisp., Stramonium, Hyoscyamus, Nux vomica, and Hepar
sulph.
"Want of moral feeling, changeable moods [anticipating the vacillation of
moods between the extremes of anger or indifference and cheerfulness], plus
dancing suggest Crocus sativa.
"The detached, self-assured critical Sulphur personality type also shares
some qualities with Scorpion."
[George Guess, Scorpion: Report of a Recent Proving]
Region
Mind. Nervous system. Heart and circulation.
Leading symptoms
M OVER-CONFIDENCE.
"The Scorpion patient is able to concentrate on one subject only with
extreme single-mindedness 'like a mental tunnel vision,' and there is
extreme efficiency in work with no hesitation. There is also great cunning
and 'the ability to know what others are thinking before they think it'.
Paranoia with suspicion and desire to outwit others, also a feeling of great
confidence and energy, like a magnetic state - charismatic." [Sherr]
"In two cases this sense of confidence was distinctly immature and
potentially dangerous, either to self or to others. A sense of adolescent
omnipotence, of invulnerability emerged." [Guess]
M Contemptuous. Want of moral feeling.
Quarrelsome. Unsympathetic.
Deceitful and defiant.
Delusion he is going to be assaulted.
Malicious with desire to injure.
Cruel and unfeeling.
"One of the main features of the remedy is a total lack of guilt and
remorse, unfeeling. This is more so than in Anacardium. Cold knife-edged
violence, desire to stab things or split them open."
"In addition to the hostility, there was evidence of suspiciousness."
"Many of the dreams centred around such themes as violence, murder, being
chased, etc." [Sherr]
M Control.
Fear of one's own impulses. Lack of control.
Uncontrollable emotions. Or: complete inability to express emotions; can't
weep.
Wants to control others.
Awkward. Accident-prone.
M Indifference.
To pleasure; to suffering; to surroundings; welfare of others; opinion of
others.
M Anxiety and FEAR; amel. walking; during menopause.
M AVERSION TO COMPANY.
Delusion she is alone in the world.
Delusion of being SEPARATED FROM THE WORLD.
"The remedy has a self-centred egotism, as well as being dictatorial. It
may have a feeling of being totally alone in the world with a tendency to
isolation, with a feeling that the rest of the world were mad - not her."
[Sherr]
DETACHED.
"Lone fighter in the desert." [Becker]
"A sense of detachment was one prevailing symptom that appeared, detachment
from other people, from the world in general, and from one's own pain and
discomfort. There was a pervading disinterest in other people, in the
opinion of others, and in one's usual sources of pleasure and intellectual
stimulation. Often accompanying this state of detachment was a state of
dreaminess or a feeling as of being drugged." [Guess]
"I consider detachedness to be the keynote of Androc. They have the idea of
belonging to another species than humankind. They may have the idea of being
a kind of extraterrastrial. They feel like a bystander, experiencing some
invisible barreer between themselves and the others. To find out their
origins they may be deeply interested in the creation of the earth and in
genealogy." [Zala]
M CONTENTED.
M EMOTIONS EASILY EXCITED.
M Alternating mood.
M Delusions, fancies and dreams about nakedness.
M Sensitiveness to and/or amelioration by sea, storms. [Zala]
M Theme: Putrefaction or purification. [Zala]
G Darkness amel.
G Chilly.
Lack of vital heat. Feels cold.
G Desire for open air.
Cold air amel..
Desires to be in wind.
G THIRSTY.
G SLEEPINESS, exhaustion; difficult waking and rising.
G Sexual desire INCREASED [in both sexes].
"Felt as if he would explode with sexuality." [Sherr]
G agg. EVENING [6 p.m. - 9 p.m. ].
agg. Twilight.
G amel. Lying.
G amel. Warm applications.
[vomiting; rectal pain; pain in extremities]
G Orange.
"Many of the colours, discharges, dreams and desires and aversions of
Scorpion concern the colour orange." [Sherr]
P Head light and floating.
P HEADACHE.
"Headaches emerged quite strongly in the proving with fourteen provers
developing symptoms. Generally, the headaches were left-sided, focused
mostly in the occiput and temple. The quality of the pains varied but were
mostly described as heaviness, pressure, or throbbing. Modalities were
mixed; two provers' headaches were ameliorated by fresh or cool air. Nausea
and vomiting and dullness not infrequently accompanied the headaches."
[Guess]
P Abundant saliva.
P Throat dry and sore.
k Dr. Michel Zala of Orleans, France, added in an article published in the
Revue Belge d'Homeopathie [1998] a few clinical additions/themes that he
had, at least twice, observed in practice regarding the remedy picture of
Androctonus.
Stammering speech.
Very direct, even rather crude language usage.
Loquacity; great fluency.
Holds nothing back; expresses everything.

jeremy scher did the proving and it is in print in Dynamic Provings. EH has quite a bit of information in Schroyen's Synthesis.

Following is from Homeopathic Links, Summer 1999
Androctonus, doctrine of signature and it's relation to materia medica
It is a neurotoxin and affects the Autonomic Nervous System in CVS.
1. The slightest provocation makes it angry and starts it stinging repeatedly. It stings multiple times, like an electric machine. The pain resulting from the sting is a severe, burning pain and spreads very quickly up the affected limb.
Violent at trifles
Fight, wants to
Delusion, persecuted he is
Delusion, surrounded by strangers
Kill, desire to, their own child
QUICK TO ACT
2. It has lots of fears together with malice. Usually it tries to escape if somebody tries to follow it. The slightest touch provokes it to sting. If it crawls on clothes it won't bite, but the slightest touch makes it fearful and cause him to bite through the clothes.
ANXIETY WITH FEAR
Fear extreme
Anger easily violent
Rage
Malicious (desire to kill someone)
Delusion, he is going to be assaulted
Thoughts, quick rapid
3. The Scorpion likes monsoon weather. It appears more during Diwali (October-November) time. Usually it hides itself under rocks and soil. It is usually found in red earth. Usually it comes out at night.
Desire to feel and crawl behind rocks
Country desire for
Sensitive to light
Shuns light
Irritability from noise
4. The Scorpion is very indolent by nature. It comes out only when it is hungry.
Indolence
Slowness
Sit inclination to
Indifferent to things which are usually pleasurable
5. The Scorpion never stays friends with any one because it has in its nature to sting
Suspicious even to his best friend
Company, aversion to
Abusive, insulting
Delusion, every one is insane
Delusion, people are ever to his company
Delusion, he is separated from the world
Miasma - Syco-syphilitic (Cancer).
The way of thinking is Sycotic. The reaction pattern is Syphilitic.
