Dear Friends,
Are there any cautions in the use of Psorinum in a chronic condition ?
Can I start with 30c one dose and wait for 2 weeks (or maybe one month) ?
Can I use LMs? Can I start with LM/1? Isn't it too low in this remedy?
And what is a reasonable dosage in LM here? A trial dose for how many days? And after this trial dose - is it safe to give Psorinum in DAILY doses ?!
Any info about potencies and dosage of Psorinum will be highly appreciated.

Hi Rafy,

(First thought, why not use F series? It avoids the need for all of those questions.)

But, from a 4th ed perspective, I was taught to use 30 or 200; I suppose that must have meant as a *starting* point, because I know it is also used in high potencies.

My one clear Psorinum case I started with a 200c (one dose only), and he had significant aggravation (of his asthma), but it was managed well enough by as-needed doses of 12c, and over the next few months the results were wonderful.

Here are the standard instructions that my first Vithoulkas trained homeopath gave me in the 90s, who still studies/works with him yearly in Greece.
It applied to any remedy since it was rubber stamped on the envelope.
Happens the remedy was Medorrhium,10M, a nosode in high potency
Dissolve 3-5 pills on tongue 1 hour after dinner
Next day, dissolve 10-15 pills in 1/2 a glass of water and sip 4x in 1 day.
Repeat only in case of relapse (THIS LINE WAS CROSSED OUT)
Written below these instructions was WAIT 10 days and start with Medh LM2.
I so severely aggravated during the LM2 that I stayed away from homeopathy for a year.
Possibly, the LM verbal instructions were not what Hahnemann suggests or I didn't follow as I remember taking more than one LM dose per day.
I can't say if it was totally too much remedy or just the LM that caused this.
Dr. Ramakrishnan uses 4 x 200C dry pills 3-4x in ONE day, once every week or two for a month, varies depending on remedy.
I severely aggravated or proved on a final dosing of Sulphur this way.
It would also depend on age of your patient, how long they've had their chronic condition, any physical degradation, organ damage or deficiency, an estimation of stage/state of their vital force, their personal sensitivity,

I'm sure I will take Psorinum one day and would likely start it the same way I have TubK, another nosode, first as 200C in repeated water dosing, evaluate, if good then switch to LM.
I tried Phos this way and proved it quickly after a few 200C water doses, which saved me from buying it in LM as it wasn't helpful for my long term chronic use.
In chronic, it may take longer to better see results. One dose may not reveal much especially a 30C.
Currently I'm at TubK LM12 where it took going to higher LM levels to see clearer how it works for me as I alternate intercurrently with an antipsoric, my constitutional..
I'm also more advanced in chronic disease now and wouldn't do well, possibly diminish vital force or recover easily on high dry doses as did years ago.
