Subject: Can I join this group?
Hi, I've been interested in homeopathy for some time, but never seem to have the time to delve into learning about it.
But now my beloved 14-year-old cat is sick. He has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and also the blood work shows inflammation they think might be either pancreatitis, inflammable bowel disease, or cancer.
He's gone from 15 lbs. to 8 lbs. He's been lethargic since he lost the weight 10 months ago, and I couldn't afford to take him to the vet as a single mother, currently only working part time. Recently, he got even more lethargic and seemed to have lost even more weight, also I think he might be in some pain.
So, I had to get a care.com credit card to take him to the vet and now I"m in debt for $226. There are only regular vets around here so he recommended the thyroid medicine, but I read it's toxis to the liver and kidney, so I don't want to use it. I'd like to try to heal him naturally but there's so much info online about supplements etc., and I don't know which ones to get.
Also, because he has another inflammatory problem, not just hyperthyroidism, I don't if any of the natural things will effect that issue or not. This has finally given me the incentive to join a group like this. Maybe someone can give me some advice on there. Sheri Nakken referred me here. So, can I join the group and get the postings in just one email instead of a whole bunch?
Thank you, Kelly
