Hi Rochelle,
Posterior Pituitary Gland (Pitu. p.)
the post position of the pituitary gland of sheep
Sarcode
Pituitaria posterior / Pituitarum Posterium (Pitu-p.)
is prepared from the posterior lobe of the gland.
Referenced in
P. Sankaran's 'The Elements of Homeopathy' (Proving)
O. A. Julian's 'Materia Medica of New Homeopathic Remedies'
Vermeulen's Synoptic Materia II
Pituitarum Posterium
James Stephenson' Hahnemannian Provings - A Materia Medica and Repertory', page 79, and a proving (12x, B&T, 5 provers) appears in Stephenson,
originally published in the "Pacific Coast Journal of Homoeopathy" vol.46, 521-522, 1935.
you can access it here:

Robin Murphy's 'Homeopathic Remedy Guide', suggests that Pitu-gl. is prepared from the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland; this is not specified in Boericke, and it is likely in error, more likely the references in Boericke are to a whole-gland preparation.
Best,
Lynn

Can anyone please steer me in the direction of some MM on the Posterior Pituitary Gland. Have checked Julian’s nosodes and can’t find it.
Thanks
Rochelle
