ICT - was Constipation cure?

Ellen there IS logic to it, and it ties in with homeopathy too. Very specifically!
Just as we have constitutionl types in homeopathy, and each does well or poorly on specific foods, so too the categories of D'Adamo are also tied to heritable traits and thus to a constitutional type and thus to efficacy of some foods for us over others, it is all ONE big picture. It is logical.
Take Puls for example, and their tendency to "see food, eat food", and their tendency to have diffculty digesting fat. Puls is a very large body type and their liver has more work to do than a small body type liver. The liver is NOT proportionately bigger, only a little bigger. The tendency to eat when they see food, keeps the liver busy. Fat likes a 6 hour break between meals as it takes 6 hrs to digest. Puls tends to keep eating and so often eats fat after a less than 6 hr break. The result is some significant indigestion - but the point is that it is tied to physical features - large body size - and to emotional features - tendency to eat any time they see food. It is all tied together into ONE type which I call an ICT type for "innate constitutional type". There is always total logic to it.
I still want to get past my legal battles enough to write a book that ties it together. We have an ICT - an innate constitutional type which consists of ALL the heritable traits with which we are born, behavioral, emotional, personality, physical, the lot - and which are ours throughout life, (and which does not change if we get some or other illness). It covers our physical makeup, our emotional and personality makeup, our kinesiology makeup (how we move), and how our insides function, what strengths and weaknesses we have in organ systems, how our physical traits affect the other traits, everything, even differences between identical twins help determine their individual ICTs, and that these can be different for each twin - so ICT is not identical to DNA (as identical twin DAN is identical DNA) but it is full set of heritable traits that happen to be inherited in a group (NOT randomly) - and we each get a specific group of features - - a SET of features of all categories combined - that is, a specific ICT.
D'Adamo came at the same thing in principle, from another direction - he sees also that people are divided into what I call ICT types except he has only a handful of genotype divisions and he has discovered, as I have, that physical features and body ratios, are part of an ICT type though he says "part of a genotype". So it is a much less specific set he has discovered, than the all-encompassiing ICT version, but it is a part of it - and he has only a few groups into which he subdivides the types. But he is right on target that specific traits DO get inherited together as a GROUP, including physical featiures as detailed as finger length and body ratios, and not in random genes from each parent per the old heritable trait theory.
SO - the principle is the same (with ICT or D'Adamo genotypes) - that we inherit a SET of traits as a group and they include what foods we can tolerate best and worst.
Every ICT aligns with ONE specific homeopathic remedy - you will see every remedy also has lists of food sensitivity data.
SO there is logic, and it does hang together - it hangs togetehr as an ICT type...... D'Adamo's categories are too few in number to cover all the ICT's, he lumps many ICTs together into a more general category - but it's a start - and the too few categories (with some people not fitting any one of his well) is because he has found only two areas where such categorties exist - blood type - and physical body ratios. He just needs to expand both into a larger set of categories, with more specific ideas for each - but he is getting there with ongoing research (it really amounts to a crude form of ICT proof of existence, but so far) and you can use the data from both his subgroups (blood type and genotype) to find a pretty good set of what will work for you, where these intersect.
Namaste,
Irene
