Patient is worse from heat, from cold damp air.

Umbilical or inguinal hernia of new-born infants often yields to Nux vomica and
Sulphur, three globules alternately every week, dry on the tongue.
If no better in six weeks, give Cocculus, or Aurum, or Veratrum, Lachesis, or Sulphuric acid.
