Who here is familiar with Duane's Retraction Syndrome?

My oldest son was diagnosed with it as an infant, before I hardly knew of homeopathy, much less began my own studies. He was treated by a well-respected opthomologist who performed two surgeries on him (at app. age 7 and 8) that allowed more movement with his left eye.

I have just met someone else who has this.

I am curious. With this diagnosis referring to a "miswiring" of eye muscles-- would this be a purely physiological issue? Are there any homeopaths here who have worked with anyone regarding this? If so, what have been your results?

I've never seen anyone with this, but I would be curious to know the
factual, personal feelings/experiences etc. with this.
In the link you gave there's no mentioning of this, so that's little
help. What are the actual/factual/personal symptoms?

I was hesitant to share this article, as it, of course, presents an allopathic description of Duane's. But I figured the slight overview it gives would at least give a bit of an picture.
What got me curious about Duane's was the description this particular site gives-- that it's a "mis-wiring" of the muscles. In other words, what I saw was that everything is there, just a bit muddied up. So perhaps homeopathy can straighten this out?? I'm new enough in my studies that I'm just not sure-- hence my presenting it here.
I can tell you only what I've seen in my son with this. A rather uptight child from the day he was born, I noticed at about 9 months what looked like a wandering eye-- which I had and my parents corrected, under direction of an optometrist, by using an eye patch. I still have quite poor vision in my right eye and need to wear glasses. The ophthalmologist to whom I brought him checked his eyes out and noticed that his left eye only turned laterally from the nose to about midway and stopped. His right eye following the same planal direction, overcompensated, moving much further than normal movement allows. (That was what I thought was the "wandering eye".) Being just an infant, though, the doctor told me to simply watch him for a few years to see what happens.
Moving to the Seattle area in his early years, I found a children's ophthalmologist (again, this was prior to my coming upon Homeopathy), who found his eyesight was very good-- slightly near-sighted, needing only a slight prescription. Our son was going through many "issues" at the time, which I don't care to elaborate on here, except to say that I'm so glad to have come upon Homeopathy later during this time, which I know helped heal him. Noting our son turned his head to help compensate for the mis-alignment in his eyes, this ophthalmologist suggested a corrective surgery-- to simply "snip" a muscle to allow greater movement in his left eye. This was done twice, and it did help significantly.
He's 19 now, and doing all right with this. But now I've seen the tell-tale eye movement in this young woman, and it's got me thinking about it once more, and reading a bit more about it.
I would very much like to know if Duane's can be or has ever been treated homeopathically-- and, if so, if this was successful.

Thank you, John! No, I've never heard of Edward Kondrot. I'm sure he knows of Duane's. I will find a way to contact him, or at least read through his site.
