Re: Winds of Change - Snopes
this has been put out under nmberous different names but the concepts and ideas put forth are still good. sadly there are too many sheeple in the country that will only hear/believe if the message comes from someone their side holds on high.
the ideas in this are still as solid as if micky mouse said it as tom or jerry
don't worry who says what. if the message is a good one, its a good one.

it really doesn’t matter if Warren Buffet said these things or not.
they are ideas that many people on all sides of the political aisles support.
creating a groundswell over them could be powerful.

Hi t,
It seems the "Winds of Change" contain some disinformation in addition to the Warren Buffet name. Both snopes and the site listed below discuss this.

These are simply ideas. If you don’t agree with them, ignore the whole thing.
If you like the ideas, pass them on.
This is not a petition so it doesn’t matter who is credited with them. Buffet
did not create the ideas. They are popular ones particularly in the left community
but some conservatives also support them. Terrific

Well your comment only proves my point. When you drop ideological names and parties
and only talk about ideas, the vast majority of the public supports efforts to ensure a democratic
process and to remove those practices that support tyrannical control
It is the biggest elephant in the living room that leaders, especially the GOP/Tea Party use divisiveness
as a tactic to keep the public at each other’s throat.

Re: Winds of Change - Snopes
i am sure no one in office right now would support these ideas unless they were there for the reasons they should be there. which is a very small percent of our congress (either party) if you were to put these ideas on a ballot with words as understandable as in the original post, 99% of the public would vote for it (my opinion). sadly, it would never get on the ballot since congress controls what goes on the ballot and if someone with BIG pockets managed to get it on the ballot the congress would confound the wording so you wouldn't have a clue whether you should vote yes or no despite knowing exactly what you wanted. and somehow the media and the paid for commercials would make you question if the world would somehow come to an end if you voted in favor of getting rid of our political royalty laws.
one of the first things we need to do is in every state pass a voters protection law that says all ballots will be counted in public view, video recorded and independently verified by two opposing (rep from dems, reps and or independents) parties. all done with multiple video and live viewing of the count. here in my state it is now all electronic and verification is just running it thru computers multiple times. until they can prove there is any system that is hacker proof this is crap voting. next, we fire everyone currently in office and elect people from the community, not from political families. sadly many people wote on name recognition and have know idea why they vote for anyone.
we the people can throw anyone out if they change their perspective after gaining office. they seem to run on what we care about then get in office and vote in favor of lobbyist who line their pockets,
but one thing we can actually do is propose voter protection in our own state and it will spread to other states and wake up the crooks in office. we ain't gonna take it anymore
