I have a 65 year old with a double tear in meniscus. Has had pain and inflammation, collapsed once in street, but now OK after rest. Able to walk w/o much pain. Surgery was scheduled this week but canceled after a 2nd allo opinion reviewed MRI, etc, and said physical therapy should be continued and see how it progresses. Orthopedic allos look at size of tear and other measurements to make determinations on surgery which can make things worse besides better.
So, have a chance now to help with homeopathic remedies which couldn't before.
Is there one more specific to the meniscus?
I know from a suggestion here, ferrum metallicum helped avoid surgery on my partially torn rotator cuff.
Thanks!
Susan

Re: Double torn meniscus
The meniscus can be re-built with injected hyaluronic acid and ozone gas. I have restored one completely so I know it works. It took about 8 months to accomplish with two to three treatments per week.I used 5 cc acid and 50-100 cc ozone gas at 27 GAMMA. Surgery seldom works regardless of what you are told. It's not a good option. Follow the money... Diet is critical, the person probably has junk eating habits. Caveat Emptor! Carmi Hazen - hint - google me!

Re: Double torn meniscus
The acid must be injected. Oral will not be beneficial. The injected ozone is rapidly absorbed into the tissue and converts to oxygen. The hyaluronic acid is then absorbed into the tissue causing the pH to shift and expell accumulated acids which go back into full body circulation. I re-built an meniscus over a period of a year or so using the injections two to three times per week. The replacement surgery was subsequently cancelled after examination as it was determined that the mensicus was nearly fully restored. Had the patient continued the treatments I am confident that a total restoration would follow. He stopped coming and the deterioration continued and all benefits were lost. He failed to correct his diet so all of my efforts were futile. He later had the replacement surgery which turned out quite badly. Caveat Emptor! Carmi Hazen

Had a similar situation - specialist recommended surgery but L&I refused to pay.
What worked was distance Reiki from a Reiki-II master I knew in Holland.
Three sessions of Reiki, a few days apart, fixed it.
She did not tell me when she was planning to send Reiki, but I could feel it each time, & it had instant results, as I told her.
Namaste,
Irene

Re: Double torn meniscus
Carmi,
This person does not eat junk food, usually high quality meats, fish, vegetables. Does eat some red meat on occasion. Mostly gluten free now but little processed or refined sugars.
Follows their allopaths advice with some health food store stuff on own and would not do your suggestions but will take homeopathic remedy I give since it is also a healthfood store item.
They would take oral hyaluronic acid in capsule form as that is sold with vitamins, would that be helpful in lieu of injected?
Thanks!

Re: Double torn meniscus
It is a proteolytic enzyme so can affect cartilage (and oter proteins) anywhere - not what's wanted if it is just the meniscus cartilage that needs work. It can actually break down other cartilage. If you give it to rabbits experimentally for example (as one study I know of did), their ears go flop from cartilage damage.
So it makes sense to apply it locally. Whether the body "knows" what to do with it, if it is needed only in knees, I am not sure.
