Thought on long water fasts

Hi,
I am planning a 22 day water fast at an center that specializes in guiding people through fasting here in Japan. I am wonder of anyone has experience with such longer fasts. I have only done week long water fasts.
I am a lightweight. Hardly skinny, but not in need of weight loss. I would like to lose a kidney stone though.
I would like to cleanse down to the cells. Also, I am looking forward to the time to focus on meditation. So, I am going to a place where I will be guided through the process.
At one time Dominic Stanghini wrote a wonderful description of his experience with cleansing. Re-reading his post, I realized that I probably know more about how to take care of myself that anyone else. That is, I should not be planning to just leave my health in the hands of the institution where I will be staying. So, I better bring my travel remedy kit, my gemotherapy herbs and maybe my computer. I was thinking of getting away from constant computer studying. All my patients have been squared away for the month (I hope???). They can email me and I can pick it up on my cell phone. But I may need my computer to do my own case. So just in case, bring it.
I will be doing a water fast, so the cleanse part will be quite severe. I expect not to feel very good on day 3 and 4. After that, my experience with fasting is I will feel pretty good. Nice to have the free time that is normally devoted to food. I don't remember feeling to sick after the detox period. But this is much longer than I am used to. I am going to an institution because normally I have a hard time coming off the fast slowly. I usually start fasts because I am sick already. I don't plan for them. In other words, when I am cooking for my family, starting and ending a fast are very difficult for me.
I will be at an institution where I I will have Japanese care takers. In general, Japanese are very caring and detailed, still I am a bit worried. As always, I should be planning to take care of myself.
Any thoughts on this subject would be appreciated.
Best.
