I thought that I would tell you-all about how my homeopathy treatment has been progressing, at the risk of sounding narcissistic. I started taking the mystery remedy 30 days ago from August 11. I suggested that Dr. Cooper not tell me what the remedy was. He was not the one that suggested it first. But we were on the same page because he agreed with me immediately. He and I have been friends for a long time and I was probably his first patient when he moved to Colorado Springs; I tend to second guess him. Everyone on this forum should have noticed by now that I am opinionated and have a strong personality. So, I did not want to interfere with his remedy selection process, so I suggested to him that he not tell me what the remedy was.
He also told me to take 3 pellets every night before going to bed until the finished the small bottle. That seemed strange to me and several people on this forum agreed with me. However, I have been improving very slowly but definitely, and I have had not negative affects so I assume that there is no proving going on. Today I vacuumed and cleaned the stairs with water and elbow grease, lots of elbow grease and sweat, and I can usually now do all of the chores around the house. But the best test is getting into the car, which is exactly the same movement every time. The day before I started taking the 3 mystery pellets, getting into the drivers side front seat was a bitch. Now it is clearly easier and almost completely without pain.
But the healing has been very slow. I would suggest to all of you real homeopaths reading this that you warn your patients that some times homeopathy can take a long time. He didn't tell me, but I assumed from the protocol that it would take a long time. He didn't mention a lot of things, like not to drink coffee 1 hour before or after taking the remedy. Perhaps he thought that I already knew these things.
But I suggest that all you real homoeopaths have a flyer telling your patients these kinds of things. I remember clearly and distinctly that Dr. Roger Morrison had a flyer that we would give out to all of his patients saying just these kinds of things: No coffee, no dental works, blah, blah. I don't recall him saying that people needed to be patient.
Dr. Cooper had my second remedy in mind before I even called him to tell him that I was finished with the first bottle of pellets. I am pretty sure that this puts him in a class all by himself. He has two remedies sequential for a particular constellation of symptoms. I don't think that he is doing this the conventional way. And since I am healing, I will continue to trust him and his judgment. But I will tell him that if I become completely healed with his unorthodox method that he needs to write a book. (:->)
