I had reason to take thuya several times fifteen years ago and it seemed to
ward off or remove some aging spots that were on the back of my hand. So a
month ago I notice one of the remaining spots has gotten harder...and darker.
So I took 30 c Thuya and it started to sort of flake off. Then I broke my foot
and got bitten by two wasps and got bronchitus so I went through a lot of
remedies in last couple of weeks and the brown spot got hard again. Then I
noticed that the Meyer's dishsoap has thuya in it and I've been washing dishes
by hand with that for last 3 months. And I wondered if it was possible that
thuya could have affected this one brown spot. I was fooling around with it
and some of it came off and now it is a little whitish looking
underneath...looks like some cancers I've seen around people's ears..but very
small at the moment. Of course if it recurs I'll go see a dermatologist...but
I'm going to quit using that soap...which I love because an 8.00 bottle lasts
over 3 months...and it doesn't leave that awful smell on my sponges which
regular detergent leaves. Or I'll wear gloves while using it. I'm just
wondering if this is possible? Unfortunately, it also has laurel sulfate in
it....and some other natural oils. What do you all think? If I'm senstive to
thuya and I think I am...could it do this?

It is possible that you have become sensitive to THUJA. Because medicines in centesimal potency has tendency to aggravate or sensitise the person who is taking it.

I would advise to take it in LM potency starting with 0/1 and going up to the potency you get suited with. Otherwise if you are having medicinal aggravation then change the medicine.

Or at-least wait for a while and let the symptoms disappear.
