Pasteurized milk is winning about 55% to 45%, roughly, in the survey linked below. This is an improvement. It would be nice if all of you folks who have not voted would do so:

It seems any people who really pay attention to nutrition and the
assault by the FDA against it, support raw milk and raw milk products.
The FDA loves to ‘find’ bacteria in raw milk which they usually do behind
closed doors, refusing to provide the testing data on it. But all milk has
bacteria, much of it we really want there.

Given the state of dairy farms, I'll take flash pasteurization.

You are certainly free to chose your poison.
Personally, I believe nothing coming from the FDA or USDA.
There needs to be some really independent info to sway me on
an issue.
And given that conventional farming has been the source of
almost, if not all, health issues, I know which side of an issue
to come down on.

yes, if i was forced to drink milk from conventional dairy farm i would insist on pasteurization, filtering, scrum and puss removal and anything else they could do to attempt to make it clean and safe.
but given a choice i wouldn't go near it.
give me raw pure unadulterated REAL milk
isn't it amazing humans have been drinking real, raw milk for centuries but now it is criminal to serve it to family??? makes you wonder what their real agenda is.

Drank raw milk for the last 4+ years in WAshington state and no sickness for me or anyone from the family farm Dungeness.
Also drank it through the 80s in California.
Certainly rather take my chance with whole milk with all its enzymes than garbage that is pasteurized in any way

Yes, so would I. But us pro-raw milk people are not proposing raw milk from factory dairies sold in big grocery stores. We are proposing being able to buy raw milk from the farmer, after visiting the farmer and seeing that he/she is serious about grass fed and loved cows with cute names.

Thank you Roger for this. I have a small farm, I may not sell raw, natural milk. For me to get everything needed to sell milk from my farm it is cost prohibitive. This kind of legislation that allows the sales of raw milk protects the small farmer. If the rules are you must have pasturized milk than anyone who is not large enough to comply is left behind.
Buying raw milk from a farm does not mean you cannot heat it yourself, it just means you are getting the 'real' milk the way the animal made it. And yes, much better to check out the farm yourself for cleanliness, etc.
