Hi Roger,
Sure, the VF is only affected by the spirit forces of medicine. But healing only takes place when the effect is “similar”. If an effect is dissimilar, it will not heal. The spirit dancers were coming from a different angle to try and restore the inner state of health, which in disease has been over-ridden by the inner disease state.
Whether what they did was to affect the VF in a similar state or not is debateable, although I doubt it.

What Hahnemann is talking about is about potentisation.
When you potentise a substance, you make available its 'spirit'. This is why it can go beyond the physical into the emotional and mental realms. In fact if you tritrate beyond C3 into C4 and higher, greater powers are released.
