homeopathy and longevity

I remember when I first became acquainted with homeopathy in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960's or early 1970's. I heard that there were only 4 doctors still practicing homeopathy in that region. The youngest was 57 years old. My first homeopathy was 96 years old. He looked 66. [His office was very far away, and I was an idiot that did not realize what a treasure I had found in him and in homeopathy, so I didn't continue with him.]

The next homeopath had his office on Telegraph Avenue, right in the midst of the insanity. I think that we was something like 77 years old. He had only 3 fingers and a thumb on one of his hands. So, there was one more who I believe was in his 80's at the time. Homeopathy was sort of slim in those days.

I just noticed that Samuel Hahnemann lived to be 88 years old. James Tyler Kent lived to be 67. Constantine Hering lived to be 80 years old. All of these dudes and the ones I mention from the Bay Area lived way beyond the average for people of their era. Remember, that those I met or knew of in the Bay Area had not yet died.

I think that it would be most interesting to find the average life-span for allopaths vs. homeopaths. I wonder if anyone has ever done this. I am pretty certain that the homeopaths will win. (:->)
