My foot kind of got smashed...hairline fracture on top of foot with torn
ligament and very swollen. I gave arnica several times...still
swollen...Anyone have any idea what would come first...healing the bone or the
ligament? Or doing nothing until the swelling goes down?

What does it feel like, what do you feel like, and other than direct effects to the foot itself, what has changed since the injury?

Any hints from your mental / emotional state, any generals, and consideration of what was going on shortly before it happened?

My sympathies. It really is hard to treat yourself, especially when in pain.
Try to see your case as if it were someone else and record the symptoms.
List the modalities, quality of pain, locations, etc.
I have never done this, but there are people who will treat alternating
2 remedies throughout the day or period of treatment. So if you get 2
different remedies for the soft tissue damage and the bone damage, you
can take one then a few hours later take the other and repeat this protocol
as often as you think needed.

Prescribe on the symptoms; mental, physical, emotional and causation.
Can you get someone to prescribe for you?

Roger B. too
