Ayurveda vs. homeopathy

It would appear at first glance that Ayurveda and homeopathy are at odds. I eat cold food to balance a hot personality. [Trust me on that one.] I don't eat hot food to balance a hot personality. [You don't want to be around when I do that.]
But Ayurveda uses non-diluted non-potentized (What is the one word for the dilution and the banging?] "medicine". If food is diluted-potentized, then one wouldn't get very much to eat; Ayurveda must necessarily be allopathic. And it is certainly possible to even make at home homeopathic remedies for foods that are counter indicated by ayurveda. I am extremely sensitive to curry and other hot foods, and I could very well make a homeopathic medicine out of my wife's curry, and I will.
So, there is no basic conflict between homeopathy and Ayurveda after all.

Thank you. Much easier. I thought that banging part was the "potentisation".

Succussion - not Succession. Succession is when a king dies and his successor claims the throne. Succussion is a form of violent shaking - in this case, banging on a book or your palm.

If, however, and his successor is very unpopular with his ministers, they might succussion the successor mightily, and they might be so successful at it that the successor may be unable to ascend to the throne.

Wondering what you meant by "no basic conflict betwn homeo & Ayurveda."
Mixing treatments of any kind is always a conflict. In homeopathy it obscures the success or failure of the remedy. Could lead to someone continuing to take a remedy that isnt really working causing a proving or interfering with the action a remedy that could work.

I see.
I didn't think about that. But, after doing the homeopathic remedy and giving an appropriate amount of time, one could and probably should go back to eating in a way that was ayurvedically indicated. The problem with that is that one's ayurvedic "profile" would have changed and it could take quite a while to figure out the new profile.
