Staphysagria to the rescue!

Recently, one of my young female cats developed
patches of hair loss on her coat, with severe itching
that created yellow scabs on the skin. The pattern in
which this appearred was rather distinct - first on
the area between the shoulder blades, then midline on
the neck and then midbody by the tail. The skin was
read and irritated. I first took her to the allopathic
vet to rule out ringworm or insect infestation or
allergies. The vet took some skin scrapings and
admitted that he had no idea what the problem was, but
here -- take some antibiotics and steriods and some
some skin creme that has both. No thank you!
So I consulted with our holistic vet and my homeopath
friend. The homeopath felt strongly that there was a
connection between the skin condition and the fact
that she was spayed a month prior to the skin
condition's manifestation and recommended
Staphysagria. I had to send away for the remedy as (I
did not have that one on hand (thank goodness for
Express delivery!). After the first dose, her itching
stopped completely. No new areas appearred. Within a
week, most scabby areas were healing nicely and the
skin was no longer inflammed. The next week, the hair
began regrowing in the bald areas and now, you can't
even tell there was ever a problem!
