Very interesting sounding book.
However, I have a question.
If AIDS, for example, is caused by poor nutrition or drug abuse,
then why doesn’t changing the lifestyle cure the condition?
Does immune system become so corrupted that it cannot self-correct?
Is that also true for conditions such as Hep C? I do know a few people
with that diagnosis that ‘healed’ but I wouldn’t say their diet was good.
One in particular who I spoke with years ago claims she got it from her
ex-husband who was a drug user. So how to understand that within
a paradigm that says the ‘virus’ are cellular waste particles?

It's not caused by poor nutrition and drug abuse.
But if you damage your body significantly - especially thymus damage (as thymus is the organ of resistance to *chronic* diseases like HIV) then the HIV virus will be ready to attack. It cannot attack a really healthy system, as there are mechanisms to kill any invading virus.
Drug use indeed can damage the thymus. So can vaccines, and a number of other abuses of a healthy system.
The damage to the system makes us *susceptible* to an HIV virus (or other chronic disease attack), where a healthy individual (with a healthy thymus) will engulf the virus or cancer cell etc, inside a neutrophil and then into a (larger) macrophage and will get rid of it, so that it cannot take over the system and cause damage.
Because the thymus damage does not easily come right, and the virus which causes HIV will continue to do harm, or at best go dormant a while.
Homeopathy is the only system I know that definitely heals thymus, thus restoring resistance and immune system function.
The HIV disease IS caused by a virus.
But it can only happen in people who are susceptible due to thymus damage (which in turn can happen due to drugs or poor nutrition - but that does not make the drugs or poor nutrition the CAUSE of HIV or any other disease - it just is the cause of susceptibility to diseases (including HIV, but not limited to HIV).
To get the actual disease, it is not enough to be susceptible due to damaged thymus - it needs the virus to attack as well. SO disease is about viral attack DURING susceptibility. Or cancer cell formation DURING susceptibility. (When we are not SUSCEPTIBLE to cancer, then we will kill any cancer cells via the thymus which sends "natural killer cells" to do the job. But it can only do that if the thymus condition is healthy - and not susceptible/damaged.

The thymus is the MOST essential aspect of our immunity. (Forget antibodies, they are part of a *backup* system only - and it is a backup for acute infections only, can NOT help chronic ones..... and should never be needed. The thymus is the first line of defense, and the ONLY one that has techniques against CHRONIC diseases like AIDS and Cancer.)

It would be affected by it yes, because "inflammation" is nothing but blood cells causing problems because they are not in proper balance, as a healthy thymus achieves.

You refer to my email which describes the workings of nature. I do not see how that has anything to do with allopathy, which after all is the use of opposites in treatment of symptoms.
I have not mentioned that anywhere in my email, I only describe natural events which we now know about and understand. In his time Hahnemann was at pains to understand how the body works and how nature works.
It's how we discern symptoms to use in repertorizing and it has nothing to do with allopathy.

It is a very unwise homeopath who works with blinkers on, as if nature is not part and parcel of our craft!

Take te example of anemia.
As Hahnemann also explains, the environment and the maintaining cause is relevant. But if you are wearing blinkers, how will you discover the maintaining cause?
* Anemia might be caused because there is kidney damage and there is not erythropoetin made. It is needed to make red cells. But kidney damage enough to cause this, has no symptoms. How will you discern and remove the maintaining cause, and how will you know what to supplement while yo do so, and treat the anemia?
* Or Anemia may be due to iron deficiency. How will you know that and supplement iron or liver etc if you have blinkers on about how hemoglobin is made?
* Or anemia may be caused by iron sequestration in the tissues. No remedy or supplement of iron will help this.
The person wearing blinkers about how the body works, will not know that a simple supplement of Vit E and Vit C will release the iron form the tissues to where it can be used to make red blood.
* The anemia may be die to a parasite eating red lood.....
* The anemia may be due to toxins smashing red cells......
The list goes on.

The homeopath who takes OFF the blinkers, and LOOKS at how the body works will know what is to be handled as a maintaining cause, and will supplement the right nutrients and also will repertorize the correct simillimum.

It can not be done by guess work. Pale gums and eyelids tell you nothing about the cause, and it IS relevant.

The words I wrote were about viruses and bacteria, but they also have maintaining causes that need to be addressed.
For example, Bordetella bronchiseptica is a bacteria related to Bordetella pertussis (whooping cough), but it has no whooping type cough, instead it makes an alkali (like oven cleaner lye) which destroys the essential alpha lipoic acid ion the lungs. The lungs die and the individual dies, but there are no symptoms except sore lungs in the late stages..
SO how is the blindfolded homeopath going to know the maintaining cause or evenfind enough symptoms to have any hope of a simillimum?
If you understand the nature - the natural forces involved - ten you can supplement alpha lipoic acid to protect the lungs and remove/halt the lung damage while you repertorize the factors like pneumonia and respiratory alkalosis symptoms that you can know from study of the disease.

It is nothing to do with allopathy. It's not to do with antibiotics or whatever allopaths use.

So my email is valid and not "allopathy" - it is all about GOOD quality homeopathy, using knowledge of NATURAL events in the body (no allopathic events) so as to address maintaining cause in a proper Hahnemannian fashion, and thus to observe aphorism one correctly.
It's NOT allopathy, to understand the disease and to remove maintaining cause and to provide nutrients that no remedy can provide!

You cannot cure even something as simple as anemia if you do not know and remove its maintaining cause - likewise MANY illnesses and especially those involving complex mechanisms of viruses and bacteria, that result in chronic conditions.
A description and understanding of what happens in nature - (and what happens in the body IS what happens in nature) - is not some "concoction" - it is necessary to removing maintaining cause and to understanding symptoms needed to repertorize, and nutrients needed to heal.
ALL part of homeopathy.

It is either lazy or irresponsible or arrogant (or all of these?) to pretend we do not need to study nature enough to discern maintaining causes, select suitable repping symptoms and discern nutritional needs of a patient at the very least.
