hepatitus

I just received a phone call about an organic frozen berry mix I have been using for smoothies purchased from COSTCO. They said there has been hepatitis outbreaks from these berries. !

Does anyone know a good prophylactic remedy I should take to prevent contracting it?

Thanks,

Cheryl

We can treat if you are sure of exposure. Nux, lyc, arsenicum? Follow the symptoms. Fear of illness or disease is a symptom.

You are exposed to this all the time out there - in other foods, water, contacts, restaurants...........
Homeopathy can treat you if you start showing symptoms http://hpathy.com/cause-symptoms-treatment/hepatitis-a/
Try not to panic
At this point, increase your vitamin c and d3 http://www.wellwithin1.com/vitamincandd3.htm
and see a homeopath if you start to show any symptoms or can treat yourself and see if you have success

http://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-diseas ... tis-A.aspx Hepatitis Does Not Cause Chronic Infection and Rarely Causes Death: Hepatitis A has a mortality rate of less than one percent (0.6) and over 70 percent of deaths occur in adults over the age of 49. Almost everyone who gets hepatitis A recovers from it without any treatment. Plus, it is so rarely fatal that the CDC does not show a record of deaths from it some years.
Hepatitis A Gives Lifelong Immunity But the Vaccine Does Not: Children often show no symptoms if they get hepatitis A and then develop lifelong immunity to the infection, but nobody knows how long vaccine-induced immunity will last. (All vaccines give only temporary immunity).
Child-to-Child Transmission in School is Rare: According to the CDC, "Child-to-child disease transmission [of hepatitis A] within the school setting is uncommon."

Good luck

Yes, that is good for me since I'm in Western Montana. I use these in smoothies for months now.

Thanks for the reply.

Go to an allopathic doctor because they are good at acute care and there is a shot or something that can cure Hep A. The body can overcome it, but it takes more than 2 weeks.

I definitely would not mess around with any form of Hep. It can really screw up your liver.

well, that advice really isn't homeopathy - and doctors aren't good at acute care at all. Maybe trauma and life-threatening sudden accident-type things (which homeopathy also can assist with). There is immunglobulin (pooled blood from many - yuk) that they might give. But hepatitis A is really not a serious disease. See all the info I sent.

Hepatitis A rarely screws up your liver for long.

Respectfully, Sheri,
But it's not your liver.

I agree with Angie – stuffed my liver (nearly had liver failure at 19) and only through a very forward thinking Dr – who treated me with B group vitamin injections rather than the liver drugs of the time and through Homeopathy later in life did it improve and I had a shot at healthier living – I have several patients that have had similar life long damage as I have too. I prefer to think that it depends on your constitution and your emotional load as to how it pans out in long run.

Thanks Sheri, you are correct.

My family has been using Homeopathy for about 20 years now and have had great success with everything from Rocky Mountain tick fever to hemorrhage after miscarriage.

You sent some great links! Thanks again.
