Info on Homeopathy and COPD

Post by Diane »

Hi everyone,

I do learn a lot from the group but I can't recall seeing anything on COPD.

Does anyone on the list know of someone that treats or has been treated with homeopathy for COPD?

My mother is in the later stages and is oxygen 24/7, a B-pap at night and countless medications.

I'm not sure she can be treated due to all the drugs she is on but I was wondering if something can be done to alleviate some of the symptoms she has which may or may not be related to COPD but attributed to her meds.

She knows she will never regain any of her breathing capacity and I believe she has come to terms with that but she is very depressed because her small pleasures in life (crafts, reading, puzzles) are restricted due to shaking hands and blurred vision due to what the doctor said is "dry eye."

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Diane,

I know this is so difficult for you, you have my thoughts and well wishes.

My husband passed from COPD, but except for pain meds homeopathics worked for him up until the final month.
This is palliative care and you need to take each symptom you want to control and use a different remedy for that.

Look at Quebraccio it is considered the digitalis of the lungs.

Feel free to contact me at anytime.

Warmly, Maria

look into treatment for yeast. yeast i the lungs, so anti-fungals. mainly taken orally but possibly liquid forms such as OLE or GSE could be put in a humidifier and breathed.
if you find a homeopath that has experience with this please pass on their info to me as well there are also prescription anti fungals but if the doctors are anti-alternatives they might disreguard your request.
thanks

Not strictly homeopathy but I have had so much success with Lobelia herbal tincture 5 drops 3x a day and when needed. It opens up the airways and was a hint given to us by a lecturer at college when we had a session on organ supports.

Diane, you CAN help your mother with her COPD.
First here are the things you can do for her:
Go on a strict VEGAN diet immediately.
Eat a meal only if she becomes hungry, otherwise skip
Drink/sip boiled hot water all day long with slices of lemon. Put water in a thermos.
If she can fast one day a week, do so. Get her ready to fast longer when needed.
Find out as much as you can about her condition, eg, which lung is worse than other, what drugs is she
taking, and for what reasons, what are the side effects. Asking her Pharmacist is better than asking her doctor(s).
Ask her if she will pray/meditate for herself, and to have a positive attitude about getting better.
Enlist her religious leader to help her, with a least weekly visits, if wanted or not.
Second:
Find a Homeopath that has worked with & treated Senior citizens.
Do not attempt to treat her yourself. There is a Homeopath in Florida who treats Seniors extensively.
Seniors do better on LM potencies than others, for long periods, due to their lack of resources & energy.
There are remedies that can help her condition, hopefully there is not too much damage.

Dr Aadil Kasim. in Blog Talk radio accessed from Home World Community gives some terrific tips in his earlier blogs where he uses Kents chest rubrics as the basis for discussion.
I wish they could be summarized in a book.

To everyone who answered via the group:

Thank you very much and this was probably a question I should have asked many years ago but between the very rural area that I live in and resistance I received from her husband every time I suggested something, I guess I took the easier route and she passed away last month. There was extensive damage even before I moved here to help her out.

Bill, I would like to get the name of the homeopath in Florida who works with seniors as I still have my Dad and Aunt in NY and I'd like to be prepared if need be.

Thanks again to everyone on the list.
Diane
