a lot of supportive comments in this articles blog.
people should write in and help focus posters on the energy
basis of homeopathy and other salient points.
also, the ANH should be supported if people don’t know their work.
they are a well respected group and the only community based group
allowed to sit at a Codex table and speak. they have been able to cap
some horrific tendencies in Codex on our behalf.

If memory serves me right, before ~1960's homeopathic manufactures could not write any claims on the remedies.

the little recommendations on the bottles are there because the FDA made them put something
on the label. so this whole lawsuit thing just reeks of quackbuster efforts supported by big pharma
I am waiting to where Tim Bolen weighs in on this mess. he has been following the quack buster
movement and reporting regularly on its shenanigans.

exactly Tanya - was just going to say the same thing.
I'd rather nothing be on the bottle as it does not do any service to homeopathy to have what they have, there.

I may be wrong on dates and details, but ~1960's remaining homeopathic pharmacies had a choice - make remedies "dispensed by prescription" or "over-the-counter" sales. They probably made decision that looked good at the time - OTC. The problem is that unlike conventional pharmacy/pharm industry that recognized the danger of homeopathy and a need to propel allopathic MDs to their current poison and status in healthcare, homeopathic pharmacies spend their $$ on defending their right on selling homeopathic combinations or strangely labeled singles to the public. Talk bout dreaming big and having a vision and not playing somebody else’s game.

I'm not sure if this is about the same subject, but 'clinical' and
'classical' will never sleep in peace under the same 'homeopathic'
blanket.

The moment companies decided to make money from homeopathy disregarding it's basic principles by making treatment claims OTC they started digging their own grave. Unfortunately part of ours (homeopaths) as well.

I see all the time here in London Nelson's combination for teething, cold, muscle pains etc which are concoctions of remedies in different potencies... This kind of practice does so much more damage to Homeopathy than the people who are against it.

I remember reading Hahneman's and other old homeopath's warnings about the negative impact that these kind of practices can have on Homeopathy. People think that combinations or quick fix treatments over the counter is something new when it is actually not. Right from the beginning homeopaths experimented with combinations and preventative remedies (not talking about genus epidemicus). The truth is that in many cases, as expected, those practices had an effect but the homeopaths where still warned that they would eventually cause more harm to homeopathy than good in the long term...
