Dog warts/tumors?

I'm concerned about a growth on my Murphy's eyelid.
It's not bothering him now, but i"m concerned about it growing and I don't want him to go through surgery.
He has several warts. One was getting big and itchy so I gave him homeopathic thuja - no change. Then I gave him homeopathic silicea - after about a month, it seemed to finally stop growing but did not shrink.
I gave the thuja and silicea in accordance with Dr Pitcairn's book.
Then I saw the small growth on his eyelid.
Dr Pitcairn's book also sugges's causticum for growths. But I'm kind of worried about giving him anything if the growth is small at this point. But at the same time, I don't want to wait around for it to start growing and then it might be too late to shrink it.

35 pound schipperkee mix. neutered as a puppy, lots of vaccinations (that we are cutting back on), 10 years old. Eats meat (mostly cooked, some raw) and some veggies - no commercial dog foods.
Shy, noise sensitive. Went to an animal shelter as an urbar feral puppy and lived their 8 years before I adopted him. Has had cancer (removed)
