when my 18 yr old cat was getting ready to leave me I took her to a vet
I told him she had never been vac’d or drugged in any way. Without pausing
he simply said that is why she lived so long. My grief was that she was not
going to live another 5-8 yrs!

Back in 1998 I think, Catherine O'Driscoll was the first person in the UK to highlight the dangers on the World in Action programme of annual vaccination for dogs and cats. It threw the veterinary establishment into panic mode. I don't think they had been prepared, as I'm sure they would have done everything they could to have tried to stop the programme going ahead. I think in USA, around the same time, Jean Dodds was working along similar lines.
The problem from the veterinarians' point of view is if they stopped annual vaccinations, they would lose too much money. The same old story. More concerned with how much money they stand to lose, than the welfare of the animals.
One of my dogs had already had its annual vaccination. Three months on it had started to lose its fur, starting with its leg and spreading up towards its body. It was through that programme I first heard of homeopathy, so took Lucky, my dog, to a local homeopathic vet. Within two weeks its fur had started growing back and he needed no further treatment. It was that that started me on the road to homeopathy.
Catherine isn't a vet but became very concerned over why her dogs were dying too young, despite the fact she was doing everything the vets were telling her to, and so she decided to investigate further.
Needless to say, I've since never had any dogs of mine vaccinated and with the exception of once or twice having to go to a vet for a diagnosis, they've been in good health. Our latest dog, who is now six, is a perfectly healthy female. She has never ever had vaccines, not even puppy vaccines, and we started taking her out, socializing her at the age of 3 months, which was when we first had her.
