Dear Lucy – yes it can be – I personally can vouch for this (after nearly 7 years or so of chronic candidiasis – Take a bow Homeopathy!!!) plus have had success in clients as well
The constitutional remedy is very important – as are the right miasmatic remedies
In my case Nit ac and Med – plus Pulsatilla along the way as needed and odd dose of Carcinosin
In patients – Puls, Nit ac, Nat mur, Causticum, Carcinosin, Thuja, Med have all come up
I also use the Candida nosode at times – when seems to be clearing but very slow
Of course diet plays a part but must admit – I had done the Candida diets rigidly for years with not much difference but with the addition of remedies esp Nit ac (my constitutional remedy) it didn’t really matter what I ate – the clearing happened anyway as the improvement in my mental and emotional state which I feel altered the acidity in body and made me a poor host
