Let's see--first impression of him as a person was that he was
thoughtful and clear and calm. So he was very easy to listen to--
a big issue for me with many speakers.
His program was to divide the resesarch data on homeopathy into 4 categories
Historical
short term evidence
long term evidence
and epidemiological---very large scale
His large scale research focused on Brazil, India and Cuba
for their prophylactic efforts. Apparently Cuba did trials with HP
in consecutive years in select provinces so they were able to compare
outbreaks of leptospirosis in the country. Results were over 90%, but
he settled on a 90% average to account for some areas were the results
were at 87%---still very high success rate.
He discussed Brazil's experience and India's with contagious diseases.
In Brazil I think it was a meningitis form. In India they chose a province
located in the center of a broad region with heavy disease outbreak (forget
which disease). The numbers of people were in the millions so the scale
of data was massive. The province they treated with HP would normally
have been affected as were all the surrounding provinces. As a result
of the HP, there was no disease.
Pretty exiciting stuff.
Golden has been trying to get his research work published and says he
will one way or the other. Obviously he would like it published in a mainstream
medical type journal.
Debbie Bruck said that if people came to the webinar through World Homeopathy
they would be able to listen to the tape of the program. Almost forgot about that
as I am not signed up for that website.
These are notes off the top of my head. I may have a couple of other notes jotted
down, but am not at that location now.

I'll have to try to pay more attention to finding ways to look more into all of this.
I read Golden's first(?) book years back and was very impressed by it; your observation of him as "thoughtful, clear and calm" very much matches my impression from that book, and really adds to his credibility, IMO. (Plus the book was *very* rigorous, lots of detail and specifics, and I do appreciate that!)

To get his work published in a mainstream journal, now *that* is a lofty goal, and may it be so!
