If a person has reasonable skills (or develops such skills by practice) in
researching the Internet with search engines -then there is very little
value in a compendium of internet links, URL's, etc.. which are dynamic
(always changing) anyway.
However, $30 is not a whole lot of cash to many "westerners" and might well
be worthwhile in terms of opening up the vast resources of the Internet to
someone who is perhaps otherwise unmotivated to begin to find h/ir way
around.. I've spent MUCH more on books about "how the internet works" of
"1000's of URL's" in the years past, which aren't worth the paper their
written on today.. but ya gotta start SOMEwhere!
If people would like a little tutorial on search engines drop me a line
mailto:dave@localcomputermart.com dave@localcomputermart.com
with
SUBJECT: Search Engines
-and I'll point out information such as
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2 ... gle+Search
If enough people feel the need to learn internet search skills, we could do
a group exercise applying the techniques to questions/information of
homoepathic interest and posting to the group.
