LM Test Dose

Dear Minutus,
Although I'm a patient, may I ask a question to help clarify an aspect of my
future treatment.
Following advice, I'll be seeing a second Homoeopath in two weeks time to
seek a second opinion. As I don't have one specific problem but many long
standing ones, I assume I'll be given a constitutional remedy.
With the thread on LM case management in mind, I have a question regarding
the LM test dose. If Hering's Law states that the condition improves inside
to out and present to past, what happens if the mentals are the longest
standing aspect of the disease. Does this mean the mentals won't always be
the first to improve.
Therefor, what sign should I be looking for when I take my new remedy as a
test dose. Is it mental, or can it be physical. Is it a striking or subtle
improvement. I ask, because maybe I missed some subtle aspect of the cure
with my first visit to a Homoeopath. As a patient should we increase our
awareness to be on the look-out so as not to miss some clue to the cure.
It would be interesting to find out what practicing Homoeopaths look for in
the test dose.
And finally, out of curiosity, if a case is started at LM1 what is the
average ending potency for a cure. Or is it common practice to ascend all the
way up to LM30.
Thanks,
Robert.
