you need Vitamin K when you use D3 as D3 uses up your K.

you need a different K
K1 is for blood clotting
K2 keeps the calcium in your bones and out of blood and soft tissues
And there are 2 kinds of K2 - MK4 from animal products and MK7 from bacteria - MK7 stronger and lasts longer and no toxicity
there is K1 and K2 - K2 is more 10 times more bioavailable and lasts longer

If you are going to do high dose D3, then must have K2

i am not debating you but just wanted clarification, from what i thought,,, i thought all leafy greens/plant sourced vit k was k1 and k2 was made by the body or only available from things like fermented foods since it was a bacterial form of vit k? and this part is just an assumption on my part, but if k2 is a bacterial form of vit k, wouldn't it be destroyed if heated? i will try to find where i read this but it is probably in one of my books which might take a while to find where i got this from. is there a website that has "good" info on sources of k1 vs. k2?
