dissimilar diseases or not?

Dear list members,

I’m trying to understand the following:

After reading a message on an anti-vax list of a lady’s daughter that got whooping cough while she was vaccinated against this disease while her un-vaccinated son, living in the same house and with asthma, I’m wondering about what Hahneman wrote in The Organon: (# 35 and so on) about two dissimilar diseases at the same time.

Is it possible that the chronic disease (asthma) of the son was stronger than the new disease (whooping cough) and, therefore, the more recent disease (whooping cough) was repelled?

Or is it possible that the son didn’t got sick because his immune system is stronger as he wasn’t vaccinated. But then, his vital force is clearly dis-eased. So, not that strong, I would think.

Interested in your thoughts on this.
Thank you. :)

hard to say but her son did not have
susceptibility for some reason - probably because
too sick on a deeper level and chronic illness
stronger, but can't say for sure.
.
Here is an article by Dr. Luc de Schepper that might help:

good thinking

Thank you Sheri.

Dr. Luc's lectures I have read already years ago. I forgot about it, due to the huge gap in my study. Thank you for pointing in that direction again. :)

I see it remains a big question each time. For example, I hardly ever get a cold, flu or dengue fever. I'm perfectly happy without these disease, however, is it because of I'm not susceptible at that moment or is it that my chronic disease state is stronger than the new disease?
Similar when there is round of kennel cough in the kennel (I work with dogs) or the so-many pup comes in with clear sx of over-vaccination (which goes soooo unrecognized by owners and vets), some dogs are affected by it and some are not. Why? Did they build immunity against it through vaccine or natural, or are they actually too sick of another dis-ease? Most, if not all, dogs carry some sort of under-lying health problem.

Something to keep on pondering about. :)
