Are you saying that it cant be cured because it is congenital or because this particular congenital defect is not amenable to a homeopathic remedy?

If you are saying the former I would disagree. David Little talks of one of his teachers curing very young children with Downs Syndrome, a congenital syndrome, to the point where David saw them later as young adults who were functionally normal and only had minor skull malformation. Much of what homeopaths cure is congenital/miasmatic, however you want to define it.

If you are saying the latter, I wouldnt know but I have my doubts. This sounds like the syphilitic miasm and the right remedy at an early age might allow the body to heal itself.

I dont think we know the limits of the homeopathic cure, only the limits of what we accomplished with a particular client.

Many of congenital disorders can be helped by homeopathy but non with allopathy.
I'm against this thought that Homeopaths should start referring patients to allopaths. No allopaths refers his patients to a homeopath despite of knowing that he is incapable of curing the disease, have you any evidence? Even then homeopath does refer patients out of their modesty....., someone may call it their inability. Yet if someone thinks other way round, is independent in his ideas.
Again yes homeopath must know proper use of tools of homeopathy as I said before and I'm sure every homeopath first takes the case, then analyzes it as per his comprehension (every on is not Hahnemann) and when comes to a conclusion, prescribes. For that, he/she must know the philosophy of homeopathy, the principle governing it (organon), knowledge of proved medicines and the miasms. He/she can have this knowledge from any reputed homeopathic institute of his/her area. Despite of basic homeopathic principles, offshoots are emerging. One must keep eyes on them. Dear Shakir,

I can appreciate where you are coming from, but each of as individuals are better off if we can be aware of our personal limits. I am trying to extend mine, but I know there are limits to one life time.

Also, among MDs and homeopaths there are many different levels. If you come from a country such as India, then you have a much better medical education than most lay American homeopaths. Yet among you, there are routine homeopaths who practice like allopaths. I am just guessing, but seems possible because it happens everywhere I have been. There are some lay homeopaths who work very closely with doctors. Some doctors are very unhappy with the limits of their professional associations. Dr. Shahrdar and Dr. Nader Moraldi are both doctors. Enlightenment is distributed with such unpredictable grace. I would close no doors because of even bitter experience within your personal environment. We work in a world that is wider than provincial blinders. The conversations that we have on Minutus are proof of this.

Dear Roger

I think according to ardavan s belief,we have two types of disease in homeopathy.1- statics abnormalities 2- dynamic illnesses.
homeopathy in hahnemann s doctrine in organon is the the best treatment for dynamic diseases but not the statics >
so in down syndrome you may treat the dynamic problems but for example can you cure the low set ear or VSD in heart or...? I do not think so.
