Hi Rochelle,
I do not know specifically about Helios but i would not think that different pharmacies in UK have different protocols as this would make things very complicated. Homeopathy is a science as well as an art and i think part of the science is the preparation of the remedies. Reproducibility of a proving in a specific potency is very important in Homeopathy as this is how different homeopaths around the world can discuss about results with different potencies knowing that they talk about the same thing.
I can not imagine how confusing things would be if my 30C was succussed 100 times while yours 10 when we do know that even 5 succussions could make a difference on the effect the remedy has (aggravation or no effect). It would not probably mean a lot on an individual level as after a while any can adjust the dose of a specific patient but it would make impossible to discuss and compare potencies between different practitioners as well as buying remedies from different pharamacies.
This is why i know most (although should expect all) pharmacies use the same protocol when it comes to dynamisation. At least pharmacies of the same country. i.e. Ainsworths, Helios, Nelson's etc for UK.
If it true though that different pharmacies or countries prepare their remedies in a different way then i think the best thing would be to call a reputable pharmacy in your country and ask them.

I believe Helios successes 40 times for C’s. I don’t actually think there is anything specifically laid down except that H did it on a leather backed bible!!

Houston we have a problem...
So here is how i know it:
Cs are 10 times (Organon 5th edition)
Xs are 20 times
and LMs are 100 times. Aphorism 270 (Organon 6th edition) mentions how to make LMs and basically you use globules to make the next LM potency.
Even at the site it does not mention (unless i missed it) succussions up to the 3C potency. It is trituration up to there and then the 100 succussions in order to make the LM. No mention of how many succussions for the Centecimals.

LMs are succussed 100 times BUT not from the pillule - from a drop of the solution
"Take one drop of LM/0 and put in100 drops of water / alcohol and succus 100 times to get LM/1 or 0/1. (in some parts of Europe Q1) (Starting potency in LM Scale). To use as required. Succus as required (2,4,5,6,8,10,12 times etc)"
