Hey,
I just want to add to what is said that with regards to Flower Remedies they have nothing to do with Homeopathy. Dr. Edward himself after he tried Homeopathy he stopped practicing as he disagreed with its principles and created his own unique system that repeatedly stated that it was different from Homeopathy on every level. They way they are prepared, the way they are prescribed and the way they are administered as well, and most importantly on the way they work. The arguments about any similarity are not against anybody else's claims other than Dr.Edward's.
Lets not also forget that it would have probably been much easier for Dr. Edward to take advantage of Homepathy's established name and call his system also Homeopathy, but he had the honesty, dedication and integrity to disagree with Homeopathy and create his own unique system after many personal and professional sacrifices. He was a great Healer.
He has written all these in his books - not the last paragraph :).

Kind Regards

Dear Didi Ananda
I admire the work you do in Africa.
If I have caused you offence I offer my apologies - but you know better than I do that Homeopathy does offer a good comprehensive response for the type of question you had posed and hence it was puzzling as to why you would want to introduce another system into the equation. Hence my question and comment.
Your sensitivity is of interest - when have I accused you of being a polypharmacist?
Lastly whilst referring to BACH remedies you state: " they are still within the greater body of homeopathically prepared remedies ..".
Please can you explain how BACH flowers may be regarded as you describe as their preparation is nothing like the preparation of Homeopathic remedies.
One big problem with BACH remedies is that "Each of the 38 remedies discovered by Dr Bach is directed at a particular characteristic or emotional state." http://www.bachcentre.com/centre/remedies.htm
Effectively they are addressing one symptom and we know what Hahnemann says about addressing just one symptom!
And lastly, you say they have a materia medica? How were they proved please?

Dear ALL-

Thank you for your contributions, they have been helpful insights and I will see how to apply them

As I wrote - I was giving a general scenerio - by which your insights would help me in the final analysis of an individual's case. So again, thanks all.

TO: Soroush's Queries

Please, why do you jump to an assumption and suppose that I would be "double booking" and "confusing" the remedies? Please read again what I wrote and what I asked help for.

To review, I asked help to find remedies on a "generic" situation, not a specific case. And indeed knowingly I took a great risk (re: the conservatives in the Minitus crowd) by asking if anyone knew of Aussie or Bach remedies that would apply.

However I did not say anything about multi-prescription, polypharmacy, or anything else of non-classical nature. Even if you hate Bach, my query never supposed using them concurrently.

Much as you may or may not use the Bach, Aussie, or even Tissue salts in your personal practice, they are still within the greater body of homeopathically prepared remedies, qualify as "simples", qualify as "smallest dose", they have their respective materia medicas and (gulp!!) ..... I contend that they do have a place in our practices. They can be applied as single dose (hence "classically") if a person chooses. (don't blame the tools for the carpenter.... a remedy is a remedy. its up to you how you apply it)

So, I really see nothing wrong with asking this resource body of 2500+ readers if anyone has more knowledge than me on these remedies, because .... they are homeopathic remedies!

But....... Geeesh this is tiresome for me.
Well, well. I do get it that on this list I've been labeled and boxed as a "polypharmacy" practitioner. (whatever that is) So much so, that even if I ask a classical question, I'll still be challenged by some writers as if I blasphemed Heaven.

Indeed now, that makes TWICE in recent postings that a straightforward presentation or question has been jumped on with assumptions that were not present in the question or presentation.

I get it. I get that MINUTUS is to be "classical" and "hahnemannian". Therefore I've long since stopped posting my "heretical" cases and posts on this list. (probably to the dismay of some readers who would benefit from such postings) I get it. You want it to be classical, so classical it is. So be it.

So please - As you are going thru the Organon, Soroush, you will come to "the unprejudiced observer". I'm sure you will expound expertly on this subject at that time. My request is that you will be more of an "unprejudiced reader" as well.

Thanks.

Some readers in recent postings have powerfully lamented the "downfall" of Minutus. I found it very distracting and boring to read all that. I as an avid reader and sometimes contributor, I'm confused - even when I post a straightforward query, I'm "burnt". It's so discouraging. You (the lamenting classicist contributors) don't want any non-classical postings AND you don't want any controversal postings AND APPARENTLY you don't even want the list "polluted" with contributors of the likes of me because I might...what?... infect people with non-classic cooties??? So guys - what do you want??? You want to discuss "classical", you want a vibrant list and discussion, and yet, when its limited to "classical", few participate... so???... ..... Aaaeeech. I give up.....
